Continuing on from Wedgies "youngest players" thread, can anyone give a list of the oldest plyers to play?

Shine Hosking "sat on the bench" at age 48. He didn't actually play however and played his last game at 39 or 40.
John Reedman would have been early forties when he retired at the end of 1909.

Given that Ralph Sewer played over 4 decades (22 years) he'd surely have been around 40 at his retirement?

Sewer was 39 years and 5 days old when he played his last game.
