Loss in QF to Sturt very close (6pts)!
2 weeks later PF against Sturt 93 point victors.
Is this the biggest two week turnaround in SANFL History?
Also 3 games in 4 weeks decided by 7 points or less.
What is a teams longest run of close results eg win/lose under 10pts?
Its not a turnaround but the 52 finals are great to read about as everyone was expecting a close one after North only scraped over Port by 3 pts in the 2nd Semi and Norwood knocked them off by a couple of goals in the Prelim.
1st semi Norwood 13-10 (88) D Eagles 10-17 (77)
2nd semi North 12-12 (84) D Port 12-9 (81)
Prelim Norwood 8-13 (61) D Port 6-14 (50)
GF North 23-15 (153) D Norwood 6-9 (45)
We held a well deserved and long standing record till the Eagles stuffed up by 125 pts in a GF a couple of years ago, I'll never forgive them for that.
I reakon you would be more unhappy that we did not kick less than 14 points; than that.

There's a thread on biggest turnarounds in two weeks somewhere on here, and within one match to another, West in 1982 had a 258 point turnaround - won by 136 then lost by 122.
West Torrens in 1932 had this run of matches by less than 10 points:
Round 8: 12.10 vs P.A 12.9 (1 point win)
Round 9: 10.12 vs S.A 10.12 (Draw)
Round 10: 19.19 vs Gl. 20.10 (3 point win)
Round 11: 14.11 vs St. 14.8 (3 point win)
Round 12: 8.17 vs Nor 9.14 (3 point loss)
Round 13: 11.9 vs N.A 9.14 (7 point win)
This is the only time a team has had 6 matches a row decided by less than 10 points.
