GTS did you read what your wrote before you said Bridgey probably wont win and then you tipped them for an upset???? Just looking at Reid's stats 17 wickets in the year and he only bowled the last 4 games from what i heard, so he must be doing something right!! They will need dawe though i agree.

dont no about the cup but plan on next weeks mad monday also.

CF, i actually wrote that if m.jaench is needed to bat in the first hour of the game then bridgy wont be in a good position to win. reread it mate. 17 is more wickets than i thought he'd taken that is pretty good but stand by my post. no C.Dawe no back2back, we'll see.

Meadows without Chad Dawe are still clear favourites for the flag. R.Reid can bowl

LOL.

In defence of us, we don't allow it in finals because a team who is thinking they can't win in the semi, might take a punt in picking an extra bowler/batsman for one day (depending on their weakness) and hoping that the toss falls their way to take advantage of it. For the more genuine cases, the general thinking is that because dates for finals are known at the beginnig of the season, and that it is always Sat/Sun there should be no need to utilise the rule anyway.

Don't worry - it potentially cost us a player this week too, until he talked his missus around and got out of attending a wedding.

That sort of effort should be applauded. Top work Steadman!

GTS, ****! What are you doing?
Jokes...wouldn't change the way Lofty approach the game anyway.
Dutchy - the Gate's a good club to be at, but not paradise til we get some flags again! It'd be tough to have a depressing mid-March like last year. That was poo.
And we're in almost exactly the same position...

J Ryan has his sisters wedding and you know about Mas....both put on a 150 partnership last game and JR would have bowled 8 overs, big losses...interesting night at the selection table and at least there are some guys in form in the D's to promote, maybe the other Maslin might get a run...

I rocked up to Tuesday training only to get about an 8 minute bat and then watch the captains have a pre-selection meeting!
Serious stuff I tells ya!
Tuesday trainings are now overrated IMHO!!
At least there'll be the barbie tonight!

Can't drink due to getting dickhead syndrome and being on drugs at the moment so you and Dolly can have a double dose I guess!

wigger = the rock That's classic but I think I like wigger the best. Pahly is the funniest man alive. That was a great footy trip.
