You realise Silky that you are giving Reid shit about having a winge and you are doing the same. So Reid obviously made the above comment to you and thats why your so pissed. Thats hillarious and he had the last laugh as well by the look of the scoreboard. Would of been a funny day for stump camps.

How did you find that out Tex?? You playing or watchin or know some Meads boys?

robby - u said that meadows might like the ball coming onto the bat this week against onkas... i wuda though hoyle and sinkas would be quicker than any onkas have to offer.. stuey hanson seemed to have slowed down a bit last time i saw him...

yeh whats this about giving jaenschy shit over the open dunny door and having a wack?? where did this stem...

onkas are my tip this week... 4 batsmen averaging over 40. hendry and mossop in red hot form and kemp like everyone knows is debatably the best bat in the league... as well as p.d and hanson who dont give much away with the ball.. mind you if young pistola can make 50 against em jizmop might be in for a few.

dutchy, never did t.flinn play for the gators.

im intrigued as to who this tex character is i mean the only ppl who could be making those calls and backing them up is some1 who played for meadows on the wkend... ifso pretty soft not to admit that much. oh yeh and you said meadows would be back to full strength... who were they missing vs bridgy?

Everyone drops a catch every now and then.
Problem with this bloody game is, it really does matter WHEN you drop those catches.
Can't believe though that Bridgey struggled so much chasing Meadows' score, thought that it was a distinct possibility.

Dutchy - which game you heading out to? Hopefully the C's GF isn't on Happy Valley's recycled rubber again!!

well ER are due for a loss in the C's!!!...while they are unbeaten they are certainly beatable...dunno who I want to win, either Bowes or Finch are going to win a flag....hmmmm............oh god help me....Go Gate!!!!

Seriously, good luck GTS, JQ & 2words the only confirmed GF starters here unless anyone else wants to own up?

ANyone else played at Happy Valley lately? the stick down rubber pitch plays nothing like the normal matting...its slow and bouncy....gives bowlers plenty if you pitch the ball up off the seam, but the ball sits up if you bowl short and takes plenty of turn...the biggest problem I had with it was when running between wickets it was very slippery when turning....

dutchy, i found little things really annoying about the pitch. you cant hear or feel the bat when you knock it on the pitch, and also you cant hear the ball when iit bounces. things i never thought you noticed put you off.

Interesting results on the weekend wasn't it boys. Everyone has talked about A's and C's so figure i'd give ya little insight into th D's game. SCIB made 193 and it came down to Aldgate needing 15 off 4 overs iwth 2 wickets in hand.. Then Chris "Ricky T" Thomas, picked up one handed and threw down the stumps from mid wicket. Then a stupid mix up similar to South Africa in World Cup Semi Final and the game was over. Gr8 game to watch. First D grade game i had seen and the standard wasnt too bad really. Probably main difference is in the majority of the fielding. little lesser standard but still fairly impressed.

Sinkas playing another lone hand for bridgy. And doesn't Meadows have anyone other than Dawe or Reid who bowls.. bowled all day. Must be playing 9 batsmen.

Can anyone confirm the venues for this weeks games??

Good luck to all playing this week.

Thunderbolt...cheers Dutchy!
That matting was pretty shite. I agree that it was slippery, like nothing I've seen.
And Dutchy...learnt my lesson about the short stuff sitting up, nice hit. Notice I didn't risk that again!?

Can Thunder Down Under tell me why C Thomas is playing D grade? I thought he would be quite capable of playing a higher standard than D grade. Shouldn't he have been picked for at least the B grade for the finals? :P Or does he come under the "Sodomka Rule" for selection

Gate in the C's GF will be going in with one of it's strongest sides in a long time.
If they had electricity out at ER I'd ask for a comment from 'em.
