My tips for the xmas round:

Sandy to knock off rosies in a tight one, bomber to be amongst the runs again
Wetsies to add to ATCO woes from last week with an easy win
Brahma could be in for a win this week with confidence from the win over Virginia but im still tipping the Wells, will be keen for a game afer missing out last week
Finally, Virginia to knock off OTH in a whitewash
Get that corn outta my face!!

This weekends games!!!!
Sandy to have some fun against Rose's... Can see this game being very one sided.. Perhaps even a bonus point...

Upset of the round will come from atco to beat westies.

Brahma to carry there form from last years semi and beat the under performing T/w outfit.

Virginia to beat OTH in a close game..

B. Machine is only 2 years old! Not 17!
This one cost nothing, like the other 10 in the team! ;)

I take it you think the bowling machine is (or was) a waste of money?

better blow the cob webs off and have B.Machine set on 135 this thurs browny.. cause jimmy is taking the new ball this week and is bowling very quick..might get the odd wide but its the one that cuts you in half is the one to watch for.. and i will def find another yard and might push 120 if the wind is behind me ;) ...

Not too good mate, I went and seen him yesterday, still in Intensive Care and still drifting in and out of conciousness, there could be further damage, they can't tell until he is alert enough to have an MRI scan. He''ll be lucky to be out of there by the end of January and then it will be off to the Julia Farr centre for rehab. It's a long journey ahead for the man.

His muscles are deteriorating on top of all this due to being bed-ridden for 12 days now. All we can do is hope.

There were a couple of good games in the 20/20 on Sunday.

Playford amassed 6/196 vs Eastern Park then Eastern Park got all out for 195 with 4 balls remaining, thanks largely to a young fella called Frankie McConnell who scored 92 in no time at all.

Smithfield 120 defeated Craigmore 107.

At this stage it looks like Smithfield will play Playford in the Grand Final at Craigmore on January 18th. There was a 3-way tie as far as points go, so it will come down to run rate.

I wish we could use the b.machine in games! Dont think we would lose too many, especially putting it at 150+!

And mate, you dont have to remind me how good bowlers both you and Jimmy are, i'm normally not out there long enough to know any of your other bowlers!!

I see the point you are making, but the benefits are that you dont have to rely on net bowlers all night, and we can run 2 nets.

I dont know why the machine is such a big issue?

He wastes the newie mate. Still bowls too short. You can always score off Jimmy.
