Fair enough. Winners are grinners !

But if you are bringing up the past, surely we can too then. And we have way more than 1 Grade 1 flag !

I wish we could use the b.machine in games! Dont think we would lose too many, especially putting it at 150+!

And mate, you dont have to remind me how good bowlers both you and Jimmy are, i'm normally not out there long enough to know any of your other bowlers!!

i thought the two wells lads were going to recruit b.machine but decided against it what happened

someone at bl offered him more.. but the prob is no one knows who that someone is ;)

He wastes the newie mate. Still bowls too short. You can always score off Jimmy.

alot of people waste the new ball in this comp... and his short ball at the grill is not that easy to score off.. unless one of your fav shots is the pull shot like yours..

Not too good mate, I went and seen him yesterday, still in Intensive Care and still drifting in and out of conciousness, there could be further damage, they can't tell until he is alert enough to have an MRI scan. He''ll be lucky to be out of there by the end of January and then it will be off to the Julia Farr centre for rehab. It's a long journey ahead for the man.

His muscles are deteriorating on top of all this due to being bed-ridden for 12 days now. All we can do is hope.

thats scary..

It's a huge reality check and will make me more observant to my team-mates when they don't seem 100%, it all happened so quickly and simply looked like he was buggered from the conditions, it wasn't hot but it was very humid.

Na, Elizabeth East. Surridge, Hanson, Trav, Wakefield, Merv and a couple more. Once they mentioned Wakefield I thought they were talking poo as he is already at the Gardens.
Trav def is Suridge might be as he needs a lift to cricket and trav was the way to kilburn, if steve is playing there he should knock up at least 600 for the season. merv & wakefield will be at gardens. i havent signed anywhere.
He's a bit overweight, no prior heart conditions, he hadn't bowled much in previous years but had been taking wickets when he got a chance this season, so he had been bowling more than previous years, he didn't have much of a run up though. He always gave 100% out on the ground, not the safest pair of hands but always tried, he's always the first bloke to go and umpire, even after doing 44 overs in the morning for the kids. He's a smoker but never drinks, it's just really hard to digest at the moment.

After a phone call to the bloke that was umpiring at the time, he was asked if there was anything that seemed a bit weird, apparently the player kept dropping his hat at the completion of his last over and really struggled to pick it up, then it was very obvious when he came off as he couldn't even transport his drink bottle from his hand to his mouth, it just kept tipping out every time he went to move it.
