i pick C how about you?

i would none of the above as the capt took a wicket the over before tea and finished with 4 for 28 off 14 and how do you claim the game was lost as the opposition were bowled out for 160 odd and sandy werent good enough to make a very gettable total.

Lets hope the pitch is ready in time, I'd think they would want to get cracking very soon to have it playable when the season begins.

Ground looks nice though ... even if it does 'seem' a little small.

Look forward to playing a game there.

Congratulations to the Sandy Creek Cricket Club in gaining entry into a new competition. Good on the B&LCA for allowing them entry aswell, I'm sure they'll prosper from having them in there.

Just out of interest, what oval does Gawler Central use?

No there isnt ... Centrals dont have a turf wicket .... some would argue that what they have barely passes as a hard wicket. :)

So having a turf wicket isnt a pre-requisite for the competition?

its not the biggest ground going around but you still need to work for you runs which always makes the small boundry look attractive for the big hit.

Add to the lushness at times makes a batsman work a bit harder.

It certainly looked 'pleasant' when I dropped in for a look on Sunday. Lovely surrounds and a quaint oval, and I know where the cockatoo on the club logo comes from :)

I hope the pitch goes in very soon though to allow it to settle, ans the original ones in the valley were put in around Christmas time the season before they were used, so you have 4 or 5 months less to get it playable.
