That isn't good to hear it would be terrible playing in a game where that happened. Thoughts are with his family.

Karoonda set Wanderers 313..... would love to go to Karoonda on a Sunday chasing 300!!!

Mypo set Monarto 260+

So would assume a Karoonda v Mypo GF next week at Karoonda......

Should mean at least there is a big crowd at the Monarto White v Imps B Grade GF.....

My only thought is that it is a joke that it is being played outside of Murray Bridge....

Karoonda will win easy....

It should always stay at the best ground in the Competition which is Johnstone Park - it is also one of the best grounds for watching cricket from..... And where people are actually going to turn up and watch it be played.... There is a reason why the AFL GF is played at the MCG....

The only reason it hasn't been there over the past few years is because the MTCA committee was stacked with Wanderers people and it got changed to alternating between Showgrounds (one of the worst ovals in the comp) and Johnstone Park.

Mr Willy i would disagree that Johnston Park is the best oval for watching cricket and playing cricket on. Johnstone Park has never been the same since the AFL game between Adelaide and Geelong a few years back. Dont bag Wanderers at least they had the clubrooms open over the week end when they hosted the grand finals. And i would also say that watching cricket from under the verandah at Wanderers is better then watching it at Imps. As for Wanderers oval if the Imps blokes on the council looked after the showgrounds oval like they try to look after imps ground Wanderers would be the better oval. 1 thing that has stuffed the showgrounds oval up is the baseball people pulling up turf where the batter stands
been there done that

Your kidding me aren't you? Under the verandah? Looking through all the netting that is put up for the baseball. The showgrounds is stuffed because of the baseball....

And they have the clubrooms open because they control the clubrooms. Its not our fault the Imps Footy Club doesn't support the cricket club. We are lucky they let us use the BBQ shed....

Its too far away.... No one wants to go there..... People should watch the A grade grand final, and it should be where the heart of the competition is....

its perfect.....big clubroooms always open good ground good pitch....much better than playin where there is a shocking difference in bounce in the same length of deliveries at imps, no clubrooms either, showgrounds is like playin in a sandpit, and le messurier has not much there

It may be perfect in your eyes, but if only it wasn't so far from everywhere else - no one wants to go to Karoonda to watch a GF.... I would love to go out there and see Mypo win, but i can't see either happening....

Le Messurier was sensational for the grand final last year. Who gives a rats toss if the clubrooms are open, because if you are sitting in the clubrooms watching cricket you should go home.... Bit like going to Adelaide Oval and wanting to sit inside....

I think Le Messurier has the best facilities for watching cricket with the grandstand... Imps is the best oval, and the pitch will settle down....

You do get rewarded, you get a home final in the first round.

A grand final should be played a neutral venue in the heart of the competition - should be always at Imps, unless Imps are in it then move it to Le Messurier - if it is Imps v Monarto then look elsewhere....
