Who does everyone think will make the top 4 in Grade 1?

Obvisouly Salisbury West at No 1 but then who??

I think:

1. SW
2. SC
3. BL
4. Virgina / TW ??

Relegation -

RC and ATCO

Without going through every game next year and adding up all the points.

SW
SC
Vir
TW / BL

On this i think SW and SC Gf
with R+C and OTH to be relegated

Better than losing i guess!? :?

it was a very empty feeling, was my first tie in cricket so i can only imagine what the feeling was like when westies and rosies tied in the gf.. would of been very hard to celerbrate..def has to be looked at in the future.. not sure what the answer is maybe a bowl off? or 5 overs each? to play 5 hours and not have a result is not good enough in our level of cricket..

A draw and sharing points would have to be better than losing in a bowl off surely.

Agreed Hoochy... Although it was a weird feeling Benny, it is one that we'll take.

Seeya Friday Hoochy.....Only 2 days left for me in my 20's :(

Back into it this week, I wonder how many people are still away or simply aren't aware that we are back this week. I can't wait to hear some of the excuses.

For those who are interested in having a look at some entertaining 20/20 cricket, our finals will be held on the 18th of January at Craigmore.

The first game is a play-off for 3rd between Playford and Eastern Park at 12 noon. The Final will be between Craigmore and Smithfield starting at 3pm.

The last time these teams played each other Playford beat Eastern Park by 1 run and Smithfield defeated Craigmore by 13 runs, should be a couple of good games.

Yeah mate, he made some good recovery over Christmas, he became coherent on Christmas Eve and has shown steady progress since. The realisation of being stuck in there until he is able to look after himself has got his determination up and is starting his road to recovery.
He's been told that he will never be able to play cricket again so that has hit him hard, hopefully we can squeeze him in for 5 more games to bring up his 100th, if we're short, I'm sure we'll name him to get him to 99 and hopefully one day he can get out there in the whites to finish it off, he was really looking forward to clocking up the ton.
His leg isn't working yet, he should be getting transferred to a rehab centre today to work on that.

Thanks for asking. He has been overwhelmed by the support we have received from other clubs.

Yeah it will be, Eastern Park offered to play a 20/20 double header, an under 18 and a over 35 game at our ground to raise some funds for him and his family, it was a nice gesture that we will be looking into.

Salisbury North have asked if we want to play a day/nighter next week, has anyone else played them in one, I've heard conflicting reports on the lighting, does anyone have any feedback?

There not too bad i played one a few years ago there, just win the toss and bat first, at the finish of the first innings u have bout a 45 min break while u wait for the sun to get lower than the trees so the second innings can get under way

I think A grade here would be about grade 2/3 there. So it's quiet good.
Although, it's all turf up here.

Great website BTW - PDCA should be pretty chuffed. However, with figures I would have been returning if I played there, I wouldn't be looking too often ;)

Nope. I just know some clubs will be interested. Questions will be asked - so I'm going to be prepared.

The rest I'll get from him. ;)

Is that okay Browny?
