Zeffa opened the bowling for lofty As on sat and got spanked by fleet

Very similar to my efforts at SCIB park last year against fleet if you remember TWE...

Cant wait for the 27th for the D Grade comp to start.
I am looking to renew my opening partnership with the great Muse Maslin at the top of the batting order.
I agree... Redcapper and Keiran Deeds are very dangerous leg spinners, but lets not forget young Jazza Elliot who has been spinning a web bigger than a DADDY LONG LEGS in recent seasons. He is a deceptive spinner with an action similar to the great PM Johnny Howard.
Also heard a rumour that Samuel George Broadbridge will be back in white this summer for the Red Cap D Grade. Very very handy bat as a colt.

He did. Bowled well. First over was a bit rusty, but the rest was excellent with some nice shape. Rumour has it he might debut for Mylor in the A/2s!

Steadman out with an ankle injury - indefinite, otherwise unchanged.

Anyway, have since been advised that Jeff will play Cs. It could be that Manos gets a run in the Bs, if Shanty ever get back to us about the clearance...

Looks like Dutchy has the last laugh on that one BCC!

Anyway nothing much seems to have changed for the "mighty" Redcaps with SCIB's apparently making over 200 on a pretty slow outfield. Apparently a young fella for SCIB hit a ton on A grade debut, is this true? If so can any of you SCIB boys tell us anything about him? Everybody else, can you recall anybody else hitting a ton on debut in A grade Hills cricket?

Anyone heard any scores from other matches?

Wouldn't be hard to do with Nairnes' Brittle batting line up.

basket range a grade would stuggle in cgrade this year. they have lost a few players since but it beats me how they used to carve up the bgrade only 2 seasons ago.

SCIBS made 257 i think on what can only be described as a beach....sand everywhere and going over the top was the only option. Lukey Behn who played D grade last yr to play with his mates (won assocaition batting trophy) was convinced to play A's and smashed a ton on debut. Only 18 years old.. used to play down town in juniors i believe. Sent the ball flying everywhere. 9 sixes i believe!! Well Done to the lad was brilliant innings
