i remember a few years ago we played the bottom side and we were chasing 170,and our captain changed the batting line up [ not thomo cause a good captain wouldnt go down that track] and we was bowled out for 120 and lost the next game.. before we batted there was a few boys puzzled with his decision..

I've only seen one game this season. Certainly think Salisbury West focused on the business end of the season.

Heard that Salisbury West have been focused on the business end of the season for the past few years!!!! Nothing will change, come Grand Final (if they make it) and they will lose. Its in their heads that they cant win, certain winners every year!

playing in 5 and not WINNING one will always be in your head ;)

At the end of the day it doesn't matter what sals west do they will never win a grand final, the only way they will is if they drop down a couple of grades...

Dont let facts get in the way of a good statement mate.

From my time involved at the club they won in 92/93, 96/97, 98/99, 00/01 and 05/06.

You my friend, are a moron.

Just ignore him, mate. Talk like that is only done by people who have nothing else. These blokes think they're heaping "pressure" on us by all this talk. Just means they don't really believe they can beat us just with the bat and ball. He's probably only won a single flag if that, and probably on the back of batting 10 and not bowling!

come on mate i cant say anything to add to the pressure you blokes have got on you to win it this year..
and if west meet the wells in the big one i will make sure i let west know how much pressure is on them.. ;)
in a good way of course ;)

Things arent where we want them to be at the moment with injuries, and departures of key players havent helped us. There are a few guys, in fact most guys having a good hard look at themselves and their role in the side and what they can do to get the team back in the winners circle. We wont be down for long, maybe it is a good thing to now be the hunters not the hunted.

West went down in a pretty lethargic display. 200 should be enough in a one dayer with a good bowling line up. Missing one bowler, but with Davies, McInness, Creek and Harrison it should still be enough. Taking a little longer for the Christmas pudding to wear off!

And I think Sandy were the hunted after a flag a couple of seasons ago. Not getting too carried away with which team lost and forgetting the winners are we?

And Catchit, why would you bother reminding our lads of the pressure if nothing you can say will add to it? Not contradicting yourself are you? Or are you keen to distract yourself on the big day just to help us out? And there's always pressure in a grand final. It can't be helped. And none of the guys will be haunted by seasons gone by, whatever you may think. Only a couple of faces remain from the first of our "losing streak" and a fair chunk of the side either played in last years only of none at all! Just beware of J. North this year. There's a guy who knows how to win a flag.

Here come Two Wells. I thought Virginia might be the ones to drop out but it looks like Sandy need some results to go there way or some creative outrights in the 2-dayers. If the lodge can win 2 of their next 4 they should make it, two wells should win at least 3 and virginia should win at least 2. Means Sandy have to win all of their last 4. I'm sure Two wells will revenge their loss to them in the first of the 2-dayers and end Sandy's season.
