Last I heard (at around 5:20), Sturt were approx 9/180. Jets should have got first innings win from there.

My guess now is Jets to bomb the Peckers (but what would I know, I picked Kensy  )

im the same btp how wrong i was picking kensington to win the flag. can never underestimate the peckers though gt some great players and after getting bowled out for 80 shows alot of grit to come out and roll the browns for 70.

interesting game on a flat wicket this week, heaps of runs to be made. will it be a 300+ score in both innings??

Jets for me, Cosgrove to score a 100 to finish his season off with a big bang!

Jets in the B's as well, a home GF at Salisbury Oval will see them home over TTG.

Side issue - how wrong is the Club Championship award calculations? Jets finish top in A's, B's & C's yet don't win the Club Championship? :?

I'm with you one hundred percent smac ----- how can any other club be given the Club Championship with the Jets topping the three highest grades ?? Thought they must have finished low down in the D-Grade, and they did (11th), but the club that won it had one side tenth, and only had two senior grades in Finals.
I'd like to see the mathematical formula that worked this one out.

The answer is simple... Northerns won a combined 24 senior games for the year... the gullies won 25... i know there is weighting of points between the grades but the simple stat shows who won.

Correct Angry Bull the Jets needed 3 teams to win in the last round and the Gullies needed 4. 2 Jets teams won in the last round and TTg had all senior grades get the points.

If that's the case they need to revisit the system of calculation. Nothing against the Bulls who only accepted what was given to them (and who wouldn't) but top of A-Grade, B-Grade and C-Grade is end of story as far as I am concerned. Tea Tree Gully is official Club Champion, but in my mind I know who I reckon was the star club.

You do make a compelling arguement BTP... the system is flawed but then again what isn't these days... the simple fact is Northerns didnt win as many games as the club that beat them... weighting or not... games won should always be the measure... just remember how hotly contested the B and C grades were this year not much in it at all.

Can't complain about TTG winning it, they won under the system in place. But a system that places as much weighting on a D grade win as an A grade win is quite simply stuffed. Any system that weighted wins more as you go up grades would have seen the jets win.

Should be this

A grade win - 10 points
B grade win - 7 points
C grade win - 5 points
D grade win - 3 points

Or something to that effect.

The SANFL system works well i think in the way it weights the games from League through to the U/17's last year of course. Not having the grades weighted makes it worthless IMO as the A grade success is ultimately what all clubs are striving for.

Jets to win grand final, Cosgrove to get 100 and Frick to get a 60 odd. Will be a good game.

Woodville put around 250 or 260 on the board for Jets to chase today in the A Grade, TTG steamrolled through Jets for about 56 and were 3/110 (I think) at stumps in the B Grade.

Jets lost B Grade, convincingly.

Jets 8/140 odd earlier chasing 272. Not a good weekend for the Jets.

Great day for Tea Tree Gully yesterday. 3 premierships B's, 16 whites and women B grade.

Northern's on the other hand would be wondering what went wrong.... should have been club champions ;) yet have nothing to show.

Great for the blokes retiring to get a premiership after playing well over 10 years at the club. The loss of them will leave a big hole but there is plenty of young talent at the club to take the opportunity they will get next season
