284, 165 games, I've hardly bowled in the last 6 or 7 years, average of 12.6, my A grade stats are better, I've let it slip with age.

very nice..
age will do that ;)

I don't think we crossed paths when I used to go alright, 2000 onwards I was on the downward slide, I bowled too much in my teens and early 20's. I was hoping my batting would improve and could keep me in the game......it didn't. I recall playing you guys a few times 01 to 03 or somewhere around there, had some good battles. You used to give me an absolute mouthful when I was driving them beautifully through or over the slips.

Always good to have a beer after the game though, Horse, Jamie and Willy, I'm not sure if Notts was there yet, tell the big bloodnut that I said G'day. Jamie used to go pretty good, has my temperment with the bat except he scores runs. It wasn't unusual for you guys to be 0/40 after 3 overs.

The longer it's left, the bigger the job, I done about 18 years worth a few years back, it took about 4 or 5 hours a night for about ten weeks, mind you, we had four teams a lot of them years. I can update them all in a few hours nowadays at the end each season, I hope I don't lose my job, they're safely stored on my work desktop.

The afternoon that followed a premiership in 04 will always go down as my most memorable cricketing moment, I think the same applies for the other ten players and a lot of the supporters.we went through about 7 slabs inside 2 hours playing a game called buffalo, it was gold. We were waiting for the club to open as we finished so early.

I'm taking 2 weeks holidays starting from the GF, this is the first year that we wont have a team in any of them for the last 5 years, I might have to jump on the Two Wells bandwagon, Notts and I go back to under 14's, I'll use that as my connection.

I certainly remember you bowling with good wheels back in the late 90's LM. You definitely fizzed a couple past my nose. There was one second innings when you were playing for Gardens that you bowled with real good heat against us. I think you asked me if I could see them alright at one stage :D

The other time you were back at Smithfield and your brother took the best catch I have ever seen in PDCA in that game.

That was the era we desperately tried to get you over with us to open the bowling with Glen at his peak....now that would've been something.

Yeah that catch was a ripper, he made great ground and superb dismount, it turned the game around for us, he should never of got there. I was only ever asked once to go and play for you guys, that was while I was warming up to play in a footy 2nd Semi-Final, Super was not a fan of mine. I went out to Penfield when he was skipper and he wouldn't pick me in their A's, they were struggling and I was doing well in the B's in both disciplines, scored 79 not out batting at 11 and found myself at 11 the next week in the B's again, despite the team not posting decent scores. Needless to say that was my last game for Penfield.

Glen and I teamed up well in association games, we played indoor together a couple of years ago, top bloke.

Wow....I was under the impression Ace went after you pretty hard. Well that is a shame then.

Hard to believe you weren't getting a game at Penfield....who was in front of you at the time ? O'Brien, Drake, Silcox ?

O'B wasn't there, neither was Drakey. Newman was opening the bowling, it was 96/97 I think. They didn't have a very successful year, they had a good batting line-up, but not too much in the bowling. Callaghan, Morris, Radway were some of the names I remember. I went out for PGCC in 98/99 for nothing, I just wanted a change of scenery and I was living at Largs Bay, I was mates with Dogleg for a while though, he talked me into it.
