I remember "Sounda" coming to our club for a bit of training when I was a kid, we were under 14's at the time IIRC, everyone was just running down the wicket and belting him for miles out of the net, he spat it big time, it was absolute GOLD.

Gordon Greenidge & Hooksey came to our school for a bit of a clinic, a couple of peanuts were trying to bowl bouncers and beamers at Greenidge while he had zero protection, he walked down the pitch and said "The next dickhead that tries any of that crap will be fetching their ball from across the other side of the road on the other side of the paddock". Someone tried him out, he didn't lie, he must've smashed it 150 metres.

He even did with protection too. Forced the cancellation of several tennis matches in progress at Memorial Drive when he was batting on Adelaide No.2 one day.

Anyone know if there are any big ins or outs at the Jets for the upcoming season?

I hear they have a test player keeping wickets...

Aside from Chris Duval returning from Tasmania, there is nothing big to report at this stage although some discussions are underway with potential players.
