OK Feel I need to stick up for Carl here. Finchy can be intense at times but so what? Cant we all? He is passionate about his cricket which in this day and age can only be a good thing. If you took the trouble to get to know him off the field he is a top bloke as well. Im sure the same applies to some of the guys i thought were dickheads from Lofty (and other clubs) but because I didnt know them off the field I kept my opinions to myself.

As far as im aware he has signed a clearance from SCIBS to Meadows and is in the process of getting the Dual Registration Form...

I doubt he would be playing at Meadows this weeks seeing that the A Grade are half way through a game but i guess he could play C or D Grade.

my source was from a very regal person so i think it would be good oil as far as i can see ....disapointing that we had to can the c grade this year but lack of numbers does that ...on a brighter note it will make the 3 teams that we still have a lot stronger with more quality to spread between them :D

from wht i have heard about tarque, if he doesnt crack the big time with glenelg before chrissie he will venture back to an already solid looking meadows outfit.

on another topic when are the association matches this yr for both the senior side and the under 21's team. any opinions at this early stage on who would b selected in either side??? interesting to hear ppls thoughts

Association is at K.I this year!!!

My early tip would be Hills to win it back, had the best list last year but didnt take the concept seriously and they will make up for it this year.

Early bowling lineup if the Tarque rumour comes true would be worrying for other comps:

Galvin, DuBios and Williamson in any order would be tough to deal with plus Hunter with the leggies.

hey shoe boy i am well and pumped after a good start with the bat on sat mate ...slappy valley do play in the hills comp and around the mid range teams in a1 and a2 with there lower grades fairing a little better in making the finals the last 2 years ...but in the last 2 years we have picked up 2 or 3 of there players who were not happy with the setup down there eg.to many a graders getting a game on reputation and not performing .....as 4 jack semds and cricket havent played with him b4 but the only one of note that i have played with and against is gifford and he still plays in the hills 4 mylor ...will the gunns be padding up as well ?if so they would be just a firey on the cricket field as the footy field ...look out boys

And if Kersbrook pick up one of their footballers this season.....In the words of Tarque 'He makes me look slow!'

Yes Hills have the best line ups but have not played as a Team and perhaps they expect to win. Where as Torrens Valley and have played as Team and the last two, im not denying that. Its two all out of the last 4 though isnt it Cougs?? Perhaps they might struggle this year without you??

yes mate he did bowl well but could have been used in shorter spells to be more effective ..he tired very quickley ....having said this though there was not much value 4 shots at all on sat ...maybe being a ranga in the sun tired him quickley i was umpiring at his end for his first spell and his first 4 overs were top draw just enough movement to get past the bat :D will he be playing higher 4 u guys this year as i see hes a sub player for this week in the bs (only playing bs last week )?
