Ok let's look at the weekend ahead. My biased opinion says that after seeing the talent on display at training tonight Sp in the B's as they will be too strong for Warnertown with the bat, ball and in the field.
My second biased opinion is SP in the A's. Sure, they are not expected to win, but they weren't expected to beat both Sollies and Props either. If there is ateam that can upset Wandies it will be the SP lads.
Good Luck to everyone, and for the sake of Pope St Francis, bloody behave yourselves!

Rumours continue to gather momentum that a Pirie team (tigers?) are hoping to be able to join the Rocky River comp next season. Any advance on this?

Yep heard tiger boys were looking at their options. Also rumours sharks looking for an easier comp 2 play in. Just get rizdonz 2 b are b grade team and keep both club names. Surely PPCA could put cricket first for once and not their own personal interests? Clubs are struggling for numbers and will only get worse. Who are the next generation that go off 2 uni next year? We lose 2 straight away that i can think of.

None at SP, although there are 2 players that already come from Adelaide to play. On another topic, go the Lions.

Good luck to All teams tomorrow.

I am tipping Wandies in the As and the Bats in the Bs, only takes one individual game winning performance to make my predictions wrong however.

My tips for the best on ground awards are Thornton from Wandies and Peek from the Bats

Well done to Warnertown they showed the value of having an all-round team. Think bowling Carroll was odd when guys that have bowled through the year didn't get a go??? He needed to bat though.
