See the big man Ben Billsborow came out of retirement on the weekend and played B grade for the mighty Gators and made an impressive 74. Won't be long before he gets the call up to play back in the A's.

Rumour on the footy forum is that someone was out on sunday mowing the bridgewater oval with a handmower, hardly someone from the council you would think. With Bridgey batting in the 2nd day of there match against lotfy this week you would think bridgey are slightly worried and are looking for all the advantages possible. Weak as piss if thats true.

Very Nice Cougar :D  Torrens Valley all the way 8) :-bd

Besides the scoreline, What was going on at Palmer on the weekend? Heard there was a very interesting dismissal involving an injured fast bowler appealing from 2nd slip against his Association teammate for Handling the Ball. Hope you're not getting too familiar with the opposition... I suppose there are only 6 teams :(
Will the Cougar be making the trip across the Passage to play in late January??

Only Bridgey would do that 6 days before their innings!!! surely step 1 would be to ask the council to do it this week, if that fails do it yourself, on Friday!!!!

Yes it's true Big Ship, that a Kersbrook Batsman may have made Torrens Valley history on the weekend for all the wrong reasons, being given out 'Handled Ball'!?!?!

Big Ship, Cougar banned from K.I. trip. :(

And thought the HCA may have made a bold move in lieu of the Pearce signing, and drafted in Darren Gepp ('Nathan Hauritz style') as Captain Coach of Hills for the Meyer Shield team. Gepp may not have been in the initial Hills Squad of 100, but like Pearce is a truth athlete, and would be gunning for the K.I. trip. If the Hills Bowlers could master the D.Gepp bowling run up, they will be bowling with some serious heat at K.I.!

Gumeracha 175 vs Lobethal

How can collyer play for Kersbrook when as i understand he is playing in the Adelaide Turf association? Did he get a clearance for a week? Ive heard of players coming back from district clubs when they have the week off but not a suburban competition.

WTF!!! back in ya box D.L.O.
I think with only 6 teams currently participating in the TVCA A Grade that if a player has a weekend off and wants to play then so be it! Whats the difference whether they otherwise play for a District club or Suburban.
Didn't he win the batting trophy last season anyway - it's not like no-ones ever heard of him.

Cougar, you heard anything about the format of the 20/20 Competition to be held on the 20th Dec?
TTG have the bye and have invited the TVCA to play on the two ovals and hold some sort of carnival type day either (20/20 or 6-a-side) with the final to be played on the Saturday night under lights.
Could be interesting to see who decides to turn up being so close to xmas...

Razorback, has married life taken complete control already? :!! Whats with the no show at Willowfest? Has everyone gone soft
