AS previously stated The Virginia lads have achieved what they set out to do, make the finals! Now it is all about being relaxed on the day and Virginia is under no pressure.
Mainly dew to the fact that they all play with a REAL passion for EACH OTHER,THEIR CLUB and no one is paid to preform. A very rare thing in Grade 1 cricket! So you should never discount what this means in teams with that sort of passion. ;) PS. how'd eye go width mee top 4?

def a good effort and i respect that... there is always pressure in a final no matter who is playing, and if you guys think that there isnt you are in for a shock.. we are thriving on the pressure at the moment, so it will be who ever thrives on it more that will play the following week...
we never discount any team we are just confident of beating any team at the min :D

How can Virginia be under no pressure. So they might as well not rock up this week. Is this the talk to help them or is it making an excuse already. Two Wells will smash them and should be a wells west grandfinal. Too good in the end today Catchit. Our young blokes stepped up a bit and hopefully will be better next year.

could of gone either way at one stage, with sibb being dropped on 2[very hard catch in slip] and then making 54 before he skyed one and was well caught by cotton in the deep off the bowling of ellis, who went on to take a hatrick to win the game for us...

so it would be fair to say that 220 would not of been enough last year ;)

got f**k all to do with last year. your still to win a semi. see how your big mouths go this week. thank god the boys can carry benny and jimmy each week.

I will have to say everyone sets out at the start of the year to play finals. It doesn't matter where you finish in the 4 so long as you make it. I will add though if teams think they have done enough by making it this far they are kidding there self. My tip is a sandy creek vs two wells grand final. Than who knows both teams have a bunch of good players and the result could go either way. As for players getting paid to play grade 1 that is a joke but than again imagine how poor the standard of grade 1 para district if these good players were not getting rewarded for there efforts..

Maybe Hunter can write another letter to the association (like last year) complaining about how the windy weather (hot weather last year) ruined their chances of victory yesterday.
He even had the cheek to address it as if it was from the Two Wells Captain thanking the association for the hot weather policy to put them through to the final, not sure what he was thinking as his email address came up with (s.hunter) as it was sent to PDCA!

Its been and gone, why keep bringing it up??

The heat didnt help again this year as the lodge had Atco that week and I think TW had Virginia which would have made the ladder entirely different. Who did Sandy have that weekend? No excuses, trust me! Just thought i'd mention it ;)

Good luck to the teams remainaing.
