Sandy- have ratters and bomber..
Ratters is one of the best all rounder performer in the comp. Bomber is just explosive if he bats for 20 overs it's normally game set and match!!!

Virginia- Have Leo
He has been a standout all year and for Virginia to have any chance he needs to do alot!!!

Two Wells- Ellis and Benny
They both a very good all round cricketers benny loves big games and will no doubt be ready to fire. Ellis has shown his worth with bat and ball all year.

Salisbury West- John mac and scott mac
Johnny is a great bowler has been for a long time and scotty is more than capable of a big innings!!!

Whats other thoughts??

Sandy's have bill and robo even though they haven't had as good a season as they would like but both capable of winnings games

Agree with Virginia but have johnny as well

Wells also have chris mac, kev both very good cricketers

aaahhhh pretty simple fellas
its who plays as a team full stop........
if the lesser likes contribute by making double what they normally make or take a wicket to break a partnership, or make a run out or take a great catch there the things that get you over the line....
can talk about individuals but the better teams have complete lists thats why they in the four and competing for the ultimate glory
you can take that to any sport....take for example hawthorn last year
geelong are full of superstars, hawks have good players who use each other and feed off as a complete team and play best to their game style....thats why they premiers!!
your team has batters, bowlers and all rounders, if each individual does what they are picked for, there the teams who win more often then not...
maybe start talking about the teams who have a complete list of eleven and not two individuals.........

Creekers if i go by my thinking i would back eaither Sandy or Two wells.
My reasons they all have good cricketers but they have 2or 3 blokes that can turn a game on it's ear!!
They have players with the X factor in which i belive you need to win Finals and than Grand finals.
Not all finals go to plan and these sought of blokes are 9/10 the reason's.. They lift when needed!!
Hope that's clear enough for you!!!!!

Now if that has come over to you the wrong way than so be it, Next time don't ask for my opinion!!!
I didn't know you needed to have played at a high level to have an opinion on an open forum!!!
I will say im glad you read my post i must be saying something right!! ;)

can you see my point of view however..........its hard to get credibility if your
just a paddock player who can't hold a bat
otherwise people won't respect your thoughts and opinions
i respect those blokes who can back what they saying thats all

John Buchanan is probably Australia's most successful coach despite only playing a handful of shield games with poor returns. I think that makes a mockery of your statement, this is a public forum and how are we to know if you have any credibility if that's what you think it requires to be allowed to have an opinion.

I believe Two Wells will take care of Virginia with ease, as they have too many match winners.

Sandy v Westies is a little different, both capable sides but I am leaning towards Westies ONLY because of their consistent form this year and that it's at their home ground. Both sides have multiple match winners and should be a very interesting game.

Good luck.

Back to the medal.... Sibs would get the 3 votes in 95% of our wins this year..

You dont even need to go back and check the games to know that!

I would assume that Leo would be the same at Virginia?

at the end of the day its whoever plays the better game on the day... if all 22 individuals played to there best the team that is best on paper would win every game.. so it all ways comes down to 1 or 2 individuals to win you a game whether it is a good run out or a super catch or a ton or 5 wickets and some teams are lucky to have a diff 1 or 2 doing it every week... not to many games are won on a complete team effort.. over a season is when you can say it was a team effort.. we finished out of the 4 so we can say it wasnt a good team effort overall :(

Surely those that deserve votes get them from the PDCA umps.....surely? ;)

My tip is Two Wells over Westies in a tight one.....although I'd love to see my boys get home.
I just think Wells, have too much firepower.

two wells have mclean and stama
although stama has had a abd year he is capable of turning it on when it counts..
mclean is just a freek in the field and a freek with the bat...

virginia have john and alex
both can hurt you on there day[havnt seen much of them to comment]

westies have john mac and justin davies
justin is the yong gun of the comp and is dew to stand up when it counts..
john mac is just a work horse you know when he has the ball he is going to give you 120%
