Re the conversation about 6 Or 10 sides for a shortened season. I think it’s something to seriously be considered but it needs clubs to get together and come up with a new concept for the league. The days of the constant flow of footy/cricket seasons is over, time to shorten it up and it’s for clubs to put heads together and ask for what they want.
Re Eastern Park. Yes the league could of imposed all sorts of restrictions and made them work their way up. But I am a big believer in having the best possible players in our league at all times. There was an early signal they wanted a Grade 2 reentry and that was never happening. Thta would be an absolute pisstake.
Units have copped a big loss with Knappy and nugget but can tell you they leave with absolute blessings, they came over helped deliver a massive club saving premiership and I wish both those guys all the best, both great guys. Units on hunt for a couple bats and with a few Westies lads blending very well into the footy club you never know who might stay on for a post premiership summer

But -rob the real disappointment for me is Para Vista have decided yet again to remain in Grade 5.. their argument that they will lose players doesn’t really wash especially when they have possibly 3 one day sides and super subs to call on.. another cheap cup heading their way. What’s the point?
Re: Enfield, surely a demotion on compassionate grounds could be considered?
