Is it true that you had a large core of players refuse to come up from your B grade during the year?

That's very true from what I hear.

Well it seems to be becoming very contagious, I got plucked from the C grade 3 or 4 times to go and fill in for the A's during the year as nobody from the B's wanted to go up, it's going to be different next season, we have a very young A grade and we have a lot of good juniors coming through.

Same here, C graders not wanting to play B so had young kids not good enough for D grade, playing in the Gd 3 team

Now that's an intersting comment. How would you know NOBODY was there, unless you were there to see nobody being there?

Anyway, good to see West showing their class by getting the required result. A and B grade both into grand finals for the club. Virginia v West at West and surely the home side start clear favourites. Two Wells learn the hard lesson that it's no good talking about it all season without being able to back it up. It was pretty obvious they were worried about their ability to even get to the dance again and I guess we now all know why.

Could well be on the money there Graham!!! In saying that looking at the results i think Two Wells may have gone in a little to confident!!!!
They did touch Virginia up in the minor round but not when it counted!!!

West were 5/40 or so and still posted 159. Not sure Virginia could do the same. Bowling wise Davies and McInness bowled basically the whole innings. Picton, Creek and Harrison hardly bowled a ball in anger. We just have too many class players for them IMHO.

Can Virginia back it up 2 weeks in a row?

Fantastic effort making the Grade 1 final after coming up from Grade 2! Although another team nearly done that last season ;)
