C Fan, thats a fair call, meadows are a young side also. lofty really lack a rohan reid, and a chad dawe to stabilize both batting and bowling. the problem is that lofty probably only have 2-3 players that could play A Grade at other clubs and probably none that could play at aldgate or meadows.

dutchy, is there a young player there that im unaware of that could play some really good A Grade cricket in a few years?? i know justice can bat but not sure he's ever set the world alight.

yes true, but im sure that both the yuill boys had time down town and hunter travelled to land of kilt... my point is this all the outstanding players in the hills come via town... it doesnt give much hope for the juniors up here. particularly the unskilled juniors of mt lofty... and dare i say aldgate are lacking in the youth department - with the obvious exception of b.pistola.

Have heard a rumour going around that A young up and coming player at hahndorf is looking to move to bridgewater, has a few mates there, apparently has lost the desire to play and thinks he needs a fresh start and afew mates to fire him up so he can reach his full potential.

hookshot, how does hunter going to scotland for 1 off season make him not hills bred?? ive played against hunsie since u16 and he was an absolute gun then aswell. he is pure hills talent. i remember him, heath yardly, kris dawe and dave mutton being the stand out cricketers back then.

top u21s
1. pistola
2.sinclair
3.jaensch
4.dunbar
and is rohan still u21 im not sure i think hayden is about 23 so he would be close.
5. also parfitt from stirlings not bad.

All this talk about young juniors that havent done much at all. What has Dunbar done last year he only made 160 in the season. They may have been good in under 16's but they have done nothing at the senior level. Pistola has played one game and done alright it will be interesting to follow him for the rest of year and see if he is one hit wonder.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I know that I am getting mighty sick of Dunbar and Jaensch talking themselves up on this forum. C'mon lads I know you can play but this is getting ridiculous.

And cricket fan, look at the Mt Lofty line up for the Meadows game, Dutchy isn't talking crap, they were a young side. All these players are 20 or under. This isn't and excuse, just a fact that they have a lot of inexperienced players who will only improve.

What names to Jaensch & Dunbar use? Should send the junk they post on this site to their clubs because I’m sure the clubs they play for would be stoked if they were as good as they think they are. A little less blowing wind up each other boys and put the scores on the board!!!

Can anyone varify any Meadows Players ages so its helps my argument here??? I might have to do some research i think.
