well done virginia just out played us in every min of that game,we didnt have a sniff both days..
thank f*** it was over 40 in last years semi

Takes a bit of guts to sit there and write that...the only ones that will hop in are the cockys and they wont be on for weeks. Welcome at Harrow Rd anytime Catchit

Good to see you guys are kissing catchits butt to get him across to bl next year and there maybe a bidding war on for his services with BL OTH in the market and out there supporting them on the weekend.

surely the clubs will learn from the weekend results that money does not buy a winning team. Two wells and Sandy are perfect examples. Best teams on paper and absolutely flogged in the finals. Lets breed what the clubs have and play the players that want to be there. this makes a winning team.

i have made some good mates from doing what we did a few years ago,and dont regret any of it.. you are right money buys good players not a good team, but after a few years together we became a good team and was just out played on the weekend.. the key is when you buy good players and have already got a good team is when you will benefit from it.. the prob was we didnt have a team at all..

he's not the only one that should resign. i'd go with the captain as well. Very average season. with the side he had surely should have acheived more. They might want to spend there money on new mats next year other than a player like Hogan. Very under acheived and shameful. All that professionalism just proves it's not warranted i this assoc. Better of just being there for the team and playing as a happy bunch of blokes. Unfortunately money does not provide that.

you should stick to drinking late at night you made more sense, since you know everything, how much did sandy pay for hoges, it quite funny when clowns like yourself carry on about it on saturdays aswell and have zero idea about what sandy does for its players and club, maybe you should take a good look at what sandy does and try and improve your own club instead of wasting time bagging others or is it you have nothing to offer. And your comment about professionalism in this assoc just goes to show the attitude is typical of some of the clubs lets not try to be better just hope we trip over improvement.

ATM I'd be thinking SW deserve to be a little shorter than that, they only played each other once this season, that makes the head to head count hard to take into consideration, one interesting point, Jonny didn't get out in either innings.

I think Virginia will go in with more confidence than Salisbury West... and with far less pressure.

That was well put there J7, CMac, there were many before you that went out there chasing coin, good on you for creating some mateship and being happy to stick with that. We'd love to be in the position that we could throw money around, we concentrate on keeping our fees low to keep our existing players.

I think Sandy & Two Wells are heading in the right directions, Sandy's had a successful junior program that keeps expanding and Two Wells won the Under 13 north comp, good to see juniors coming through, less need to attract other players.

In the end it doesn't matter how you get the players it's the results that count. But eventually money has to run out in this comp. For those that fork it out they can hope to get a return quickly but it's with a good junior program that you get sustained success. No juniors = no grade 1 future IMHO.

For one Two Wells are going to struggle this year because there are guys wanting to play Turf Cricket and other blokes who have had there time in the sun and don't really want to play in the highest Division anymore.. As for Two Wells Jnr's from the presentation night sunday night it was a very attractive thing to see so many kids out there having a hit and running around.. Pity there are not as many Adults willing to chuck the whites on!!!
With Our Grade 7 side playing in the GF is all well and good but it's afair way from them stepping up and playing Div 1 in the next few Years!!!!

ask anyone at two wells how much money they have got over the last 3 years..
alot of the answers will suprize alot of people..
maybe chris can say what he made over 3 years at wells??
i can say i had 200 slipped in my pocket after the gf and thats it..
i played there for something to do on a sat again and i think everyone did the same..
a couple of blokes sighned for 500 as a one off payment, the rest just wanted to be apart of it..
so to say that people flocked out here for the cash is a joke..
people just being jealous of people not looking at there clubs..

well said!! another prob is that it is left up to scott wendland to do everything off the field and he has just had enough..
he has been a great servant to the club and deserved more support from some of the people who turned there back on him a few years ago...
