Robbo has been good this year, his hands have probably been tied at certain stages of the year with a large core of b grade players not wanting to play in the a grade. If we had guys pushing to play up, then that may have put some players under pressure on a saturday.
Alot of people have bagged hoges on here, and what people dont see is what happens behind the scenes, he works extremely hard at trainings and is a very good club man, ok his performances havent been great this year but look out next year he will come good.
Sandys is a great place to play cricket, and those that look at the club and cast opinions from afar are totally wrong. As James07 wrote, maybe you should come and have a look first hand and see for yourself.

i was only having a crack at ratters mate.. you have seemed to have got alot off your chest big fella, must of been building up for a while now.. robo should be captain... as for hoges!! no one really cares about what he does at training and behind the scenes, its all about what happens on a sat that people have there opinion about,i have seen some very good net batsmen in my time... i have no doubt sandy is a good club and a great place to play mate, i dont reckon i have ever knocked that..
I used to eat a lot of natural foods until I learned that most people die of natural causes.

Grade 1: Salisbury West vs Virginia; I think Jonny is in for a big game here, they've outdone themselves so far this year and I think their yap will get under Westies skin.
Grade 2: Salisbury North vs Playford; I wont be surprised to see an upset here though, I think Playford would've done some homework and if they hold their chances, they could get over the line. Salisbury North have too much to play for though and their experience should save them.
Grade 3: PGCC vs Salisbury West; Westies will no doubt have a couple of tricks up their sleeve, Drakey to bowl all day and if Jimmy North plays, he'll have a big one.
Grade 4: Brahma vs Central Utd; Brahma's group have been around the mark for the past 3 years, but looking at who played for the Units last week tells me there is plenty of talent and experience in that side.
Grade 5: Salisbury North vs Elizabeth East; For the hawks to get over the line against the highly fancied Gardens was a huge achievement, I think they'll back it up.
Grade 6: Salisbury North vs Playford; The standout team for this grade during the minor round should see them come home with the goods, a reverse outright in a semi shows great character.
Grade 7: Angle Vale vs Two Wells; This one will go down to the wire, I think AV will relish playing on their main oval.
Grade 8; Brahma Lodge vs Angle Vale; Being the standout team and winning a semi by 10 wickets suggests they are a lot stronger than their grade suggests.

These are just my views and I'm happy for anyone to disagree as I haven't seen most of them play during the year, just going off what I have heard and read throughout the season.

Have to disagree with you on the grade 7 final, to many big hitters in the two wells side and should get the job done.. GO YOU WELLS..

All good mate, I didn't see your line up, you guys aren't too crash hot at updating the "my cricket" website. Come to think of it, I think Angle Vales "D" grade is stronger than their "C" grade. Is Nottle playing for your grade 7 team?

Angle Vales D grade is full of 15 year olds with a couple of older blokes, i would be pretty certain their C grade would smash the D Grade. Well thats what my mate told me and he plays in their D Grade.

Scully can bat and Lemmens is a pretty handy all-rounder, they have a few good kids in there aswell. There C grade doesn't have much in the bowling department.
