its not adelaide oval so a full time curator is not needed but we have someone inplace to look after the turf deck during the week.

Robbo has been good this year, his hands have probably been tied at certain stages of the year with a large core of b grade players not wanting to play in the a grade. If we had guys pushing to play up, then that may have put some players under pressure on a saturday.
Alot of people have bagged hoges on here, and what people dont see is what happens behind the scenes, he works extremely hard at trainings and is a very good club man, ok his performances havent been great this year but look out next year he will come good.
Sandys is a great place to play cricket, and those that look at the club and cast opinions from afar are totally wrong. As James07 wrote, maybe you should come and have a look first hand and see for yourself.

i was only having a crack at ratters mate.. you have seemed to have got alot off your chest big fella, must of been building up for a while now.. robo should be captain... as for hoges!! no one really cares about what he does at training and behind the scenes, its all about what happens on a sat that people have there opinion about,i have seen some very good net batsmen in my time... i have no doubt sandy is a good club and a great place to play mate, i dont reckon i have ever knocked that..

Not havin a crack at ya catchit just had some things and thoughts that i wanted to post
Get that corn outta my face!!

All good mate, I didn't see your line up, you guys aren't too crash hot at updating the "my cricket" website. Come to think of it, I think Angle Vales "D" grade is stronger than their "C" grade. Is Nottle playing for your grade 7 team?

thems fightin words no xmas card for you from the nottle house this year lightning

I thought he got dropped for the semi, did he not take it well?

he basicly dropped himself by choosing to play golf in round 14  another reason was to play the extra bowler so stama could rest up.. to his credit he took it on the chin and scored both days.. well 1 and a half days..
big of him to offer to do that i would think...

not to sure its good to see any grade 1 comp get weaker, but that it will if sandy do go as well..
not sure about chrissy to creekers mate, i would think he would be looking for a club close to town, which ever one is closest to another club he has plenty of time for..SUGAR..

You'd inspire me to kick on another year, I have every intention in coaching and scoring for our A's at the moment, we could re-kindle an old flame. Our oldest A grader is only 24 and we have a great future ahead of us with the right guidance of these lads.

James 07 what i was trying to say is that if Sandy were to go to Turf it takes more than someone to turn up and sit on a roller for an hour a day...
Good luck to them if they do, there is just alot of work involved in going to play turf... Would have liked to keep playing against them in the para districts though... enjoyed playing against them...
