I saw some entertaining comments from ROCs, Trinity OS and Port Districts players so I assume it was one of them, but who knows!
Surely it was a result of those season preview videos......

My understanding is it came from the debate in relation to if we should be playing on October 24th or not.

it will be interesting with teams knowing its a short format start of the year they have been able to potentially train for this, aswell as mid day games i think you will see higher scores posted. teams can actually warm up this year

Pitches may be an issue. Had a fair bit of rain over the last couple of weeks and expecting more Wednesday and Thursday. Also the fact that footys run a few weeks longer than usual. I reckon we will see smaller scores and even games where pitches won’t even get up.

very true also I didn't think about the weather. also will clubs bring in imports for the game or will the district clubs say no potentially.

You’d think atca would make a call on Saturday’s games soon. The weathers looking good for next Tuesday, games could be postponed until then. Giving clubs and curators an extra few days to get wickets up for more even matches not relying on winning a toss come Saturday!

Light would be a massive problem for a Tuesday night game this time of year. Probably need to move to mid November or so.

any ground that footy finished early on would be ok i would think might just be a few green tops. they wont postpone. lucky helmets are mandatory

At tonight's delegates meeting ATCA confirmed the helmet rule remains in place for this weekend's games.

As for moving saturday's games, forecast is for no more rain as of tomorrow afternoon so those that have access to a curator Saturday morning should make reasonable wickets still.
I'm also aware of a few clubs that prepared decks tuesday and put them under covers Wed/Thursday so they only need a touch up friday.

Agree with other comments that you can't play a tuesday arvo fixture this time of year.
Games that don't get away on Saturday will simply share the points I think.

20+mm yesterday and overnight.
Its going to be a struggle.
Might get a start after lunch maybe.
The wind will help, but its sunshine we need.
20/20 cricket on green seamers will be fun?

Make the most of it, good chance for the stump to stumo bowlers to feel like t20 kings

The Pooraka vs Trinity result most surprising so far.

Did most games get away

How about those little old Adelaide Tim Davey Lions Rockets....

A drinking club that don't train.

Looked that way except for Bailey.
