Excellent pick up Bulldogs. While you can be pretty ordinary on the spelling and grammar at times, clearly you are a mathematical genius!

No doubt ATCA will have it worked out around lunch time Friday

The minor premier automatically goes up regardless of what happens in the finals.

If the minor premier makes the grand final, then the other grand finalist also goes up.

If the minor premier doesn't make the grand final, the premier goes up (along with the minor premier).

Only for an hour or two until the :drinkers: kicked in. No seriously it was extremely dissapointing but we did leave ourselves in that position and must take our medicine.

Ice block placed on the pitch overnight at AHOS last weekend - random act of vandalism or not?
Who would have benefited by our game not being played?
Whoever it was didn't do a very good job, only delayed us by an hour, pain in the butt being stuck playing til 7pm though.

Nothing more frustrating than turds who have nothing better to do than vandalise, we had a hoon drive onto our oval through the fence and slide right across the pitch days before we needed to play on it. Thankfully he was picked up at the Sandy Creek pub after doing it. Seriously morons like that can go live on a deserted island somewhere

Looking objectively & independently at the tables, the end results, & how the games were situated after day 1, the only team that could possibly have benefitted were SPOC, as they would have stayed in the 4 regardless of their result.

But I'd like to make it clear that I'm not suggesting it had anything to do with them - I wouldn't have thought they are the type, & I have never heard their names mentioned in the context of doing such things before. I'm just answering Shark Hunter's question in terms of who would have benefited.

Either that or you boys just wanted to make sure Pulteney didn't make the 4, hey Shark Hunter??! just joking mate!

We wouldn't do that to Pulteney, Silky - we all get on great! Correct that SPOC are the only team that would appear to benefit if the game was called off. I also highly doubt that anyone associated with the SPOC A1 team would go to this length to make finals - still, according to Bulldogs, there is a 1% chance it had something to do with them.... ;-)

Modbury to get over old iggies as they are the top side. Old Iggies only have 3 bats and they are gone.

Marion to get over Concordia. Concordia have no batsmen at all the lot of them are cross bat sloggers. That gets you nowhere in finals, evidence of this of their 2nd dig v Goodwood collapsed to be 9/120 odd. I know it was a 2nd innings but not the best preparation heading into a sudden death final.

Heater, give us your tips for this weeks A3 GF. The 2 sides that can't bat both made 200+ on the weekend

Bit of bad luck for PAOC in C3, we had to forfiet against them due to them not having juniors and us having to abide by the heat policy by not playing juniors, they didn't want a one day game. Karma it is a beautiful thing.

Interesting. In a similar situation in Round 4, Goodwood couldn't field their C3 team to play against Ingle Farm because of the heat policy, but Ingle Farm agreed to play a one dayer the second week. Second week ended up being washed out and the game wash a draw. Technically they could have claimed a forfeit, but that is hardly in the spirit of the game.

Double Karma!!
