The Meadows side maybe young , but most of them have 4 or 5 seasons of A-Grade under their belts. Other clubs should be concerned because i think Meadows will be around the top of the table for many seasons to come if they all remain playing there.
Lofty could definately do with one or two experienced blokes in that side to help those younger blokes out and to make sure that this year is a development year, not just a year were they get smashed and get into bad and losing habits.
Probably time for Lofty to sit down and set out what they want to achieve from this season.

Dunbar = PP?

Lofty have a very young side, Meadows have a young side with experience - bit of a difference.

Lofty have Madsen back this week and John Ryan who bats and bowls, already made a ton in the lower grades...we might see where both Lofty and Baskets are from this game

At the end of the day Id rather be developing youngsters that flogging 35+'s like some teams

dutchy, your right in one sense about developing youngsters, but i dont think there is that much point playing only kids because they wont improve by themselves. and honestly most of meadows' young brigade were top players without the A grade experience. and for loftys team i truthfully dont think that there are many of them that will improve into top Agrade players.

What about Ben 'Junior' Thomas in the notable U21 class? Is in his second season as a keeper, and is now called upon to hold up the tail end of a tottery SCIB lower order. Chooky Burton, Kieran Price, Zeff Wood, Staten Evans, Matt Lynagh may be others in line for the Figg side. If the afore mentioned Hahndorf recruit is moving to Bridgewater, has he has worked out how ordinary A&EH is in comparison to the standard in the Hills comp? Can't remember the last time A&EH beat the Hills at the Meyer Shield?

Yer fair call Hooker but...
I know the kid pretty well. He captained the Hills Rep u14 and Vice Captain of the Hills rep u16 team. Made a few runs in the Hills u21 team last year also. Lost interest a bit in cricket, i think he plays other sports. Cant Bowl to save his life, never goes to training, but saves 20-30 runs in the field every week. Go Red Caps. Prediction Scott Maddo Madsen for MOTM.
PS it was two sentences you ballbag.

They may have been good in under 16's but they have done nothing at the senior level. Pistola has played one game and done alright it will be interesting to follow him for the rest of year and see if he is one hit wonder.

More runs then you will ever make in A grade at the age of 15 mate
