One for the ages some would say, hardest trip in the game playing westies at westies especially in a grand final! But we’re all up for it and I hope it’s a cracking game of cricket for myself to finish up on! Good luck to everyone else playing in GFs this weekend.. never easy to win!

Best of luck young fella.

Sounds like youre ready to run through a brick wall haha. Good luck.

Im gonna have to pick my old club and tip Westies for div 1.

Div 2 i have no knowledge or personal carefactor for either team. Ill tip Smithfield because i work with a guy name Smith.

Div 3. Hopefully a nil all draw but in reality ATCO have been far and away the best team all year and should be too strong.

Div 4. Westies
Div 5. Westies by a jmac long bomb

(Big party at Westies if my tips are right)

Lo1. Vi$ta. Tipping Hoddo to hit 200 and break the 1000 run season mark. And for gods sake Vista need to step up to 2 day cricket, would easily handle div3/2 cricket.

Lo2. Units
Lo3. Vi$ta
Lo4. Risers
Lo5. Todd Weidenbach
Lo6. Virginia

Club of the year. Westies
Is club of the year a thing in pdca?

Yeah westies 209 over night, we knew it was never going to be easy but had our opportunities..

Had them 5/45 at one stage, then 3 very easy dropped catches and the momentum swung right around!

Travy Mc an unreal knock in the end, couple little partnerships before that and all of a sudden they are at 200.. was never gonna be easy and hopefully all of the boys are up for it! If there is any team that can manage to get this job done, it’s us! Backing us boys in with nugget to go large and win his 3rd MOM medallion in GFs

Btw what’s the deal with no live scoring for the show piece game of the competition ffs ;)

Lost of comps have now moved on to streaming games through frog box yet we can’t get the div 1 final on live scoring.

Rosies were next to no chance. ATCO best team of the year by a fair bit despite having a couple close shaves against Enfield and TW. Well deseved victory.

Salisbury West 3 flags
Atco 3 flags
Para Vista 3 flags

9 out of the 11 men’s flags taken by the 3 clubs.

Good on them but most of these teams were playing in the wrong divisions...

Time for Vista to grow some balls and play 2 day cricket!

You could say the PV teams were in the wrong division. All the SW teams were in their right divisions. I would also argue Atco A grade and C grade were in their right divisions as well. Yeah in a perfect world Atco B grade would have played in the two day comp.

I respectfully disagree. The SW teams will be closer to their rightful divs next year in 1,3 and 4.

Rosies defeated them during the season and had ATCO in trouble for most of day one, dropped catches and keeping bowlers on for too long cost them as the experienced ATCO outfit kept just plugging away.

I will re-iterate my stance on batting first when you win the toss in finals, runs are worth double.

As you stated though, ATCO were by far the best team for the season and deserved the win, they have a relentless bowling attack and use every bit of grass @ Dauntsey Oval to suit their game, their oval would have it's own post code.

I will admit that on Sunday I was wondering where Eyre's runs were going to come from, they have players that can hang around to occupy the crease but there's never much free scoring going on, 182 is only 2.6 and over but that can soon turn into 4+ before too long with a patient well disciplined bowling attack.

I'm hearing 8 team divisions again next season?

Units going to LO's only aswell.

Westies were where they should've been, their C's done pretty well without a bowling attack for the season.

Salisbury West just keep doing Salisbury West things, they win games of cricket, they have players rise when they're needed, if they aren't sandbagging then it's fair game.
