[quote="chrissymac7"]I have to say Scott Wendland was the only reason i come to play for Two Wells and ill be straight up and honest it wasn't money...

I will also say that the team that come together over the past 3 years majority of them are best mates now and will have friendships for life..

I for one think that's alot more than cricket and money can put together...

Im also all for blokes getting paid if they perform!!!!

Best cricketer in Two Wells sorry Norm is STAMA by a country!!!!!!

SPOT ON THE MONEY CHRISSY WELL PUT..

the last years have been the most successfull years in two wells history and if it wasnt for the 2 blokes off the field it wouldnt of happened.. Yes the ship was halfway down and for it to get up and win a grade 1 flag is a good achievement i would of thought..

thats right it was to lm.. I was pissed off because i had heard how hard the games against smithfield were and couldnt wait to have a crack against you guys.. Was more pissed off for rocking up to a empty ground without being told of the forfeit.. Only because it was two wells that forfeited..

There was a wedding if I remembered correctly, I wish it was at our ground, we could've had a couple of beers and who knows, we may have persuaded you to come out to us. :)

Bulldogs raised an interesting point, off-field organisation outweighs on-field success when it comes to cricket clubs. We have been a bit skint some years as far as helpers are concerned. We have already started having monthly meetings to plan ahead for next season and start the year off with money in the kitty and a structured plan on how we can be more successful.
We've gained a couple of valuable sponsors and we have the biggest committee that I've seen there for the past 20 years, a lot of people doing different roles to ease the burden on the few that have carried the place for a while.

Mate do you want to know the honest truth, no one wanted to listen, at that stage everyone was happy to just be average. It was just going to happen because we had the players. It was two guys ways or no way. So there was no sign on fees paid out to any one? Or anything like that. I know what i was offered by someone at the club to come back. And as for your sarcastic comment about me being the most talented player in the town , f*** you! Never once have i said that, i might have blown my own trumpet every now and again but never did i claim to be the best, far from it.Have you or are you involved at the club? If not f*** off and dont talk s***t. Its ok to hide behind a name so no one knows who you are and have an opinion isnt it?

So i went to sandy for money? Yea thats what i did it for. Paid off my house in three years, my car, kids schooling all done for life. Mate you wouldnt know what goes on or what money changes hands would you? Speaking from the outside looking in. Sandy is by far the most proffessional club. Great bunch of blokes to play cricket with and drink with after games. Its blokes like you that make us want to change comps.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
that was the only thing in my post that i wasnt having a crack at you about!!!!! i thought stama lived elsewhere...
what i meant is i think if someone lives in a little town and is a talented cricketer[as you are] i think that they should be there till the end no matter what, and mate am i the only one who has brought up sandy creek players getting paid??

Before lv got there it was average very average at least he tried doing something for the club and yes he is head strong but only for the good of the club.. Not his fault the club was up the s***t before he got there.. It was a club who was just happy to be playing cricket in any grade and not wanting to improve and he and a few others wanted more and we got it.. I bet now a couple of those blokes who left will come back and they can sit back and run a grade 6 team and say i told you so.. Thats all they are capable of running and i know that for a fact..

Good on you.

But..

1. I would "like" to think that BL is the most professional and well run club in Grade 1 ;)

2. If you going to bag out people for hiding behind their names then have a crack at Creekers aswell!

Unless someone is/was getting paid thousands to play PDCA then who gives a f**k!

Creekers is not from Sandy. I know that for a fact.

Im glad i got everything out in the open. Two Wells lucky to win a GF. There you go i have said it.

If you read my post properly, it was the guys before i was having a crack at. Also the 2 guys u talk of off field running things, that wasnt running the off field, if you want to see how off field is run go to a decent club and see how things are done
