Enfield clear favourite now. Get the frogbox ready for div 1 next year phantom.

LO1 premiership now to be known as the ROID cup. Units and Modbury Heights the favs but cant write off Vista just yet. The rest are making up the numbers.

SAFooty come alive this morning - and it's not even me posting drunken abusive crap! :D

Enfield flag favourites, look forward to Grade 1 next season and taking on the heavyweights. 8)

Nah good result yesterday for us - I cant recall the last time we beat ATCO, it's got to be 4 or 5 season. Always a close match usually decided by a couple wickets or handful of runs. Whilst yesterday they were missing a couple, what it did was reaffirm to me that we would've given them a better shake in the Grand Final last season than Eyre Royals. :(

Shout out to the evergreen veteran Gully - "retired" (again) during the offseason, first game back in the 1's yesterday and picks up 6/9 off 6 overs. The legend grows.

Hopefully he was warned first.

It’s quite simple though, when you’re at the non-strikers end you look forward and as soon as you see the ball come into your line of vision, you leave your crease.

It’s not the greatest rule but just don’t crib.

How does someone come to the crease at 4/34, score 163 of the next 190 runs and you still lose in a one dayer?

The comps look pretty even besides the obvious.

Virginia getting up at home over Dublin, Angle Vale defeating Westies away is a good result for them.

Has the points system changed this year is or is it another HQ glitch? Westies are not on 73 points already.

Round 4 sees Westies at home again against Virginia, Dublin host Craigmore and Eastern Park travel to Angle Vale.

A bit of noise on the PDCA FB page in regards to Eastern Park.

Grade 2 is up and about.

Enfield with a good win against ATCO, Royals in a nail biter over North Pines and the Gardens chased down 202 off only 23 overs, losing 3 wickets along the way, obviously Barry didn't have a hit. Their oval was tiny the week before I must say, apparently the umpire set it though, Westies B Grade doesn't exactly have the strongest bowling line up, batting is very sound though.

Royals host ATCO this week, should be a cracker, ATCO will be out to make amends for last week's loss, everyone needs a loss here and there though to keep it real. Enfield to tackle the Gardens and Westies to organise flights to North Pines.

Three very good games at a guess.

LO1 seems to be heating up as a stellar comp.

Four genuine contenders, two that can go well on their day, one that can be hit or miss then there's Two Wells who need to find a couple more allrounders to be competitive.

Send Two Wells to LO2 and move Gepps Cross to LO1.

Also how did ATCO B manage to end up in LO1?

Because they won LO2 last season.

Luke Harris hasnt been playing and he is the difference between them being competitive or not imo.

ATCO B won LO2, Salisbury North begged to come back in pdca via LO2 instead of LO1 where they were originally placed.

ATCO won LO2 which is great - but that was also before the comp accommodated the influx of other LO sides. Surely a club like Gepps Cross who only have intentions to be in the comp one season should've been put in that grade?

Risers, Union, Warriors, Andrews Farm and Gepps Cross all want to play One dayers as well and with any new team, who knows what level of talent they have until they get going.

Will take more than just Luke to bring them back to the pack, Sammy Harnas would be a fair help too.

You knock ATCO off and now you wanna blow their horn?

But yeah, LO1's and LO2's should probably be reserved for A Grade teams, it's a case of the unknown for the committee when sorting shit out late September.

Surprised Andrews Farm was allowed into LO3.....had only ever seen/heard of about 3 names getting around PDCA before and its showing. Every innings only a couple of blokes have made more than double figures with the other 7/8 scoring 10-20 runs between them.

Where would you have chucked them?
