So because Grade clubs are poorly run and can't afford to attract players, the ATCA should limit their clubs?
Haha

Heard the same thing with some Barossa players heading south and Marion's captain also heading south. What other word is there, I believe Broderick might not be coming back for Goodwood. He is a terrific player, even to watch from the opposite side.We signed Cam Laird from Pooraka to add to our bowling stock, outside of that hasn't been much news, has Trinity found a coach.

Not sure Broderick Visa allows him To Come back again.
But with connections and endless funds/ member support from Goodwood they will find an adequate replacement.
I always find it odd how they can be the biggest junior club in ATCA but also recruit from
Overseas so heavily.
Some of the money players from average B grade district cricket ask for is even staggering.

Can agree with all of that, waiting for Pooraka to announce the exciting news they mentioned to stay tuned for on Facebook ?

I would not be discounting the 3 winter tours to the UK in the past 10 years as a recruiting tool. Puts the club front and centre to potential overseas players see a portion of the club in action.helicopterking wrote:no_remorse28 wrote:helicopterking wrote:I know of some Hard Wicket comps giving 4yr -25k contracts, and a player jumping ship for 15-20k per year in the Great Sthn League.
