I can not belive the s***t that was written above. Spoke to a ATCO player yesterday and his words where that he wouldn't contemplate having a beer with anyone out at virginia cricket club because they are the biggest bunch of toss bags he has ever played against. Not bad coming from a bloke who played footy out at virginia. Seems to me the virginia boys are not making to many friends around the traps and who knows before to long im sure they will be back where they belong in div 2 and 3 where they can have 7 players making tons.. Div 1 cricket is alot different than playing 2 or 3 as they found out on the weekend.. On the Ben's daughters incident that is just a disgrace and any sportsman would know they have crossed the line. If a team mate of mine went there i would be the first person to laugh when he got belted.. On a better note some big scores getting made maybe grade 1 is a little better than everyone is giving credit for...

An individual bowling record only happens when you have good teams ? Interesting. Lino was obviously a good bowler back in the day but that is a silly thing to say.

Can you tell me though....what year were those records and when was Virginia's last Grade 1 premiership ? Out of curiosity.

i know excactly who you are .. and you seen me on sat.. and nothing.. as for alex he sledges just as hard as me and then there is jonnie who talks all day and does intimidate the little blokes too the diff is they dont cross the line..but at the end of the day it was a little bloke with a big mouth who knew he had you jonnie alex on his side which made him want to be a hero.. what do you think i wouldnt have a go at a big bloke if he was gunna say something about my daughter.. you are a trippa.. wouldnt care who it was they would get a spray.. i am sure alot of blokes would of wraped a bat around his head incuding a few of you guys if it happened to someone at virginia..why dont you ask him if he stuffed up.. so its not about little blokes when i sledge ask jonnie........................

Hey billy, i been good mate. Ill be out at two wells for footy (even though the misses hates the travel) but for cricket i am very settled at atco at the moment. I have alot of my close mates there and i like the way the club runs. As for whoever said that Gary would talk bs about the VCC obviously has no clue, because if i recall during the off season gary was a regular at the club and even donned the guernsey for a gig in the A's. Not sure he would do that for a team he supposedly hates!

I Was not there!Your own words stated you gave it back to this bloke! So why come on here and bag the whole team and club?, The lads worked hard to get back into grade one, And that's the only incentive they needed. But i will say, some comments/sledges i have heard over the years have been disgraceful. But the sledge is only used to get your mind of the game. Sometime, usually! when disgraceful comments are used it only makes the abused more determined to preform and punish them with bat or ball. So! my problem is when you lump everyone at the club as maggots and they don't deserve to be in grade 1. Lot of Virginia people on the wall at TWs i am one of them. For the record! Two Wells have put together a pretty good side and will be intresting to see if you can repeat last (07/08)years result with a new team

CUSA cup is a joke from what I've heard. S. Sewell captain. Obviously was a very classy 0 and 4 he scored to make that side. Sewelly is a good player and top bloke but would only make that side when in form which he obviously isn't. If he's one of the best two openers in grade 1 (you couldn't bat him anywhere else) then we are a weak comp this season. Even the guy himself is bemused by it. There was a thought he was picked as the captain first because of how his side is going but do you really pick a captain before the team in a situation like this?
