Sandy Creek vs Virginia: Having only played one of these teams so far i can only assume this game will be a good one, I believe that Sandy with the home ground advantage and experience of being in div 1 for a couple years will get them over the line.
Prediction on scores: Sandy Creek to Bat 1st and score 215 and Virginia to fall short with a score of around 180.
Two Wells vs Atco: Having played for two wells a few years back i know what this team is capable of, and it will be a tough ask for my team to go out to two wells and notch up a victory. I think we will hold our own against the roosters but i believe they will be a bit ahead of us in the end.
Prediction of score: Atco to Bat and score 170s and Two Wells to score around 220
Rose and Crown vs Brahma Lodge:I think this game will be a High scoring match as the Oval is quite fast, Brahma lodge should notch up their first win comfortably.
Predicition of scores: Brahma Lodge to score 300ish vs Rose and Crown to score around 240.
One Tree Hill vs Salisbury West:Not sure about both these sides yet but going on form i would assume westies to get up in this match, with a possible outright victory.
Prediction on score: Salisbury West to score 280 vs OTH to score 150 and 8/110 by end of play.

Sandy for me over Virginia. Hogan to make 50 , Fuller 70, Hands 4 for 38
Two Wells to beat Atco only just, Atco to challenge them.
Rosies for me to beat a poor performing Brahama Lodge.
Westies to win an easy one over One Tree Hill , Outright????????????????????? Yes i think so.
Still agree with 8 team comp. I know it has been thrashed out on here but dont like 20 twenty for premership points. imo.

sandy due for a 250 lpus game
sandy 260 virg 240

atco with nothing to lose is the danger for tw
tw 250 atco 150
brahma should beat rosies.. to be a contender they have to win
could be a long year for russle and the boys
brahma 230 rosies 190

west to win.... oth hill will give them a run but will fall short
west in great form as always

No start for us yesterday v Virginia. Weather was fine, The rain the night before and the little bit we had in the morning, And the disadvantage of having stuck down mats.
Back to the creek it is.

I didnt think so i was right to go when ever, but we had Merlin and he was worried about player safety . I dont think Virginia were that keen? Maybe Twogoodforu can answer that. I was not happy , wasted a day. they called it off at 250. Any other scores?

that sux....next time you should park 6 cars over the pitch with there motors running at 12pm for a hour... game on for sure.. heard that bramha made 220ish west made 300ish wells made 215 with atco 0 for 29 at stumps... we had 9 overs to bowl at them and this young bloke fantasia came out and made 23 in good style.. including a 6 and a 4 off the last two balls of the day, very confident batsmen..for us to win we must get him early..do you know him?

Game for the taking there Groover

Yeah for sure, should be very interesting what happens next week. To our credit we bowled pretty well all day and were a little unlucky not to have them out for a bit less as we had them 6/100ish.
Also the batsmen for us that hit a hundred last week has been at our club since juniors and over the last few seasons has shown great ability and i think that the step up to div 1 is the challenge he required to take his game to the next level.

Not impressed! All that was needed was bit of concrete reo mesh, bend it a little for air flow, attach a couple of $5 blue tarps to keep the rain off! TOTAL COST under 50 bucks. But this might be in virginia's favour, alex and jonnies agressive batting styles should suit the short game format.

I seen the game, disappointing results for the PDCA, didnt seem to apply themselves except for a very good innings from Sewell. Bowled too short and loose, but take nothing away from churches they played well i thought and its a great result for there comp.

Also interesting to see the man who did the damage with the bat for churches is a former PDCA.

being that we have so much going on at our ground we cant have something on it to cover it. Kids play in the morning every saturday. Cricket there 6 out of 7 days.
