they had a pretty reasonable bowling line up with Davies, McCarthy, McInnes, and Picton as front line bowlers not sure if Jabba was the spinner or not but the definately had Hewitt in the eleven

Jabba apparently bowled 2 overs for the whole day!

He bowled when the batsmen were well set and they took to him, game was already lost by that stage

think you'll find when you see the score card had some of your team got some sleep the night b4 they may've put up a better show than what they did.
also found it very funny that at the end of PDCA 40 overs yelling from the side lines was hahaha "thats 80 runs to many" then there was "we should've declared after 20 overs" also "wait till we bowl make sure the helmets are out boys" and "win the toss and put us in so were still here at 1 o'clock' well we did win the toss and put you's in! now maybe if PDCA put asmuch work in to the game as they did there mouths the resuly may have been differant! i'v never seen a PDCA cusa cup team with so little desire to win and lack opf respect for the other side.
hope this doesnt offerend just my thoughts!

It seems that every year 2 or 3 of the associations in the comp don't take it seriously by not picking the best guys, the best guys refusing to play or the guys there not caring too much (or more to the point a combination of all 3). I don't think PDCA were arrogant. I think they felt undermanned and tried to compensate with some bravado. If we were to expect that the guys would take it seriously then there have to be rewards for playing and/or penalties for refusing. But you can't really do that so we will have to put up with only really trying every 3 or 4 years after being embarassed or when someone puts some serious energy into it. Perhaps appointing a captain before the season starts and have a training squad meet a couple of times before the first game for a net session together would help.
