Imps rolled for 109. Had Mannum 9/147 in second dig when called off. Mannum were 2/1 after first over (1 run was a dropped catch should've been 3/0) and 5/30 at one stage but then steadied.

Karoonda won outright easy, Monarto won outright easy, and Mypo won outright easy.

I wouldnt have thought so.... Interesting question to start the new year but I can't see it happening.

Not sure if it is going to be an exciting new year for the MTCA - top 4 looks pretty much sewn up at present....

why wouldnt they?
it would make it so more people stayed and more people played.
they might get warn out a bit with 2 games played and they would need a fair bit of care at the start but i would be up for helping make this league more of a competion, i would be the grounds keeper at Imps if they needed one.

Considering most grounds being played on are owned by the council, I doubt that it would happen - and I don't think many clubs in the association could afford to pay a curator...

Karoonda played Imps on saturday at karoonda. Imps batted most of the day with Sundries (byes from Todd Shulz up to the stumps) and brett williams top scoring. Imps ended up with 190 odd. Probably should have only been around 130 but we got a bit lazy with the last couple of wickets. Josh Norman took about 6 for 30 and bowled very well. Karoonda are 2 for 25 and will have to bat very well to make the runs.

How did the other games go on the weekend?

Yep could be a very interesting day of cricket at Karoonda on Saturday....

Wanderers batted first against Monarto and made 90 odd. Monarto were then bowled out for 80 odd. I think Wanderers were 2 for not many in their second dig at stumps.

That would be a confident boosting first innings win for the Wanderers boys. Hope they can bat better in the second dig so not to give Monarto a chance to win outright. We are Wanderers sitting on the ladder

Wanderers are second to last on the ladder - only I think with 2 wins and a draw. Lost a lot of their good players, but they still have a decent enough team to be competitive on their day.

Mypo did have a turf wicket back in the early to mid 80. They were the only side to have one.

MTCA should be competative with the side that is going. Corey in form with the bat and Zrim 33 wickets to date? Is Willis in the side?
