2nd that mate. Whilst I was as pissing and moaning about getting another disgraceful decision today I heard this news and it really put things in perspective. I actually thought wow there's fair bigger things to worry about than getting a stinker from an umpire.

Really feel for the players involved in the game. Very sad news

Condolences to the Craigmore Cricket Club.
Also to the CDFC, who lost a great supporter.

Terrible bloody news.

A very grim day, Craigmore were hosting a T20 yesterday as a fundraiser for a charity in honour of a girl from the Craigmore Cricket Family who lost her life last year, I'm sure Harry would've been a huge help for that, there's been plenty of consoling at the club as they unite to support each other.

Absolutely heartbrreaking

I've just been talking to someone from work who was there.
They said they were impressed by the way everyone did everything they could at the time. The ambulance also arrived very quickly.
Slim consolation but...

I know what you mean, hat's off to everyone who was there, kids were ushered away, the ATCO boys packed up all the matting etc, the right people were trying to keep him alive and were succeeding for a while and the ambo crew were just brilliant.

All my info came from the Craigmore captain who has called me a few times to let some stuff out.

With this being the last week before finals can the ladder change? The results aren't up on my cricket from last week so I'm unsure how the other 2 games are progressing.

Central United 219 v Craigmore 0/6
Angle Vale 199 v ATCO 0/2
Virginia 222 v Riverside 2/13
Salisbury West 9/318 v Parafield Gardens

Gardens 106.73
Westies 95.69
Vale 92.55
Virginia 85.23

Huts 72.15
Units 63.56
Blues 59.97
Riverside 54.44

Westies need an outright to overtake the Gardens which seems unlikely.
Virginia could get an outright over Riverside which will see them leapfrog Angle Vale who should get first innings points against the Huts.
Units you would think have enough runs on the board to win the relegation battle with Craigmore.

Unfortunately I'm tipping the day to be heated out and the song will remain the same.

Just seen that, usually one more in the beff.
Angle Vale are probably the more well rounded side but Virginia seem to have the knack of getting the job done.

Yeah I thought they'd prefer to play Angle Vale because of that reason.. but then again only takes a couple of the AV lads to fire and it makes life a lot harder.

Westies firing, they look the team to beat still...

Don't think it matters, different ball game in finals.

1-1 Against Angle Vale this year, none of us liked playing at their oval. They played it well that day.

0-2 Against Virginia this year. I didn't play in either game so cant really comment to much.
