wait a minute dutchy??? are u saying youd rather be in mt loftys position in a's??? i would have thought, even a moron like you could grasp the concept that when a side goes in, in the evening to face little more than 10 overs the main objective would to come in at the end of the day wicketless... as far as i see it we are in a very tidy position after an ordinary bowling performance, imagine if we hadve actually bowled well.

runs on the board anyday BCC...seeing the call from your club was that you wanted the outright win I would have though an agressive approach in the 14 overs could have got yu to half our score and then in a position to push for outright next week?

name calling...very mature...

have to be with dutchy there BCC, since i would think that there is not much hope of lofty winning the game i would have thought bridgy wouldve tried to make atleast 60-70. wouldnt think that there was much chance of the outright now. if lofty had made another 50 or so runs couldve turned out to be a danger match for the shantys.

hmmm i spose your right... though all bridgy need is a first innings win to make it certain to qualify for finals... as i said the bowling performace wasnt outstranding and your pretty hard pressed to beat a side outright after they make 150ish.. nonetheless that score shouldnt prove too much trouble and even an extra 50 runs wudnt of been too bad coz loftys attack isnt the greatest with n.j bowling 15 overs a match and bridgys batting line up is decent.. for an outright you need things to go your way from the word go...

I really dont think Bridgy wanted to win outright they dont really need it and would rather batting the 70 making 300. They need there batsmen to hit form going into the finals

so you make the call that your going for the "double outright" and then you will just be happy with the win going into finals... :?

BTW, waiting for Inside 50's report into how he hit the winning runs yesterday
