This only needing to play for a draw encourages average cricket. TTG bowling wide crap to loaded fields.

5/174 at tea, fairly even with Bulls probably slightly ahead. If WT can get to 250 they have a good shot, think TTG have only made 250+ three times for the season and not since first round back after Christmas - all one dayers when they did as well. Interesting game so far.

TTG up to their old tricks by the sounds of it. Kensington complained last week, had the ball reversing after 20 overs.

Heard the umpires called Weaver and Gatting out at Tea break to ask them to explain the ball. Both sides of the ball smell different. Gatting has history and been reported before, Weaver in his last game probably so doesn’t care.

Unfortunately what will happen to them in the end, bugger all. Good on umps though for taking it up to them.

Pretty obvious when Barrett and Somerfield at 110 km/hr make State players like Gibson and Drew after Lunch look like they never batted. What an absolute joke and a disgrace!

Tim Oakley when he played for us told the boys how they do it, was handy info to know!!

Hit on the hand by Oakley, did not look good. Nurse is looking at it, thinks it is a broken thumb.

Would think won’t be batting again, think WT screwed now as he need to make 100+

Frogbox gone again - how effin hard is it

You never know - runs on the board in a GF. Put the umpires under pressure with some aggressive appealing and see what happens.

That’s true, and as Shark Hunter said above, they have not made good scores all year. Can try and block out draw if required. Umps should just fire them out for their actions today :D

Eagles edging towards 220 - it my experience 220 on the board wins more GFs than it loses. High tide for Glenelg due around 6:30pm - 8 overs in the last 1/2 hour will be tempting (the old tale to bowl on the incoming tide) :o

Gutsy effort from Gibbo. Big 6 to bring up his ton, previous ball looked liked it really hurt his hand as well. Peters has made an invaluable 59*. Eagles in a good position now - 7/271.

Brilliant by Gibbo. Declared at 8/281. 12 overs tonight. Good declaration. Need two wickets tonight (would take one).

Hearing Buckingham only allowed to bowl 10 overs as debuting for Redbacks on Wednesday, that going to be very costly and put lots of pressure on Spencer

Then watch the Redbacks make him 12th or 13th man!! Could be payback by Tim Nielsen as I believe the WT coach is very critical of the Redbacks and they don't like hearing the truth from him?? Also, daddy not happy with little Harry not keeping as well?

I agree. That was my initial thought. Reminded me of the Francesca hat trick ball against Kensington.

Justice for all their cheating with the ball all day :D
