Northern Areas and Rocky River cricket finals set to go

Postby Sky Pilot » Tue Feb 22, 2011 5:11 pm

The Rocky River and Northern Areas cricket associations wind up the home and away series next Saturday. I'm happy to post the scores up date on the major round on here either Saturday night or at sparrows on Sunday if enough people are interested. Post your thoughts between now and the weekend and if enough interest is out there I will oblige.
Meanwhile, at Spalding last Saturday Booleroo-Willowie bowler Slug Arthur took 8/19.

Dunno about Robbo's availability for the finals so you probably know more than me mate.
Booleroo-Willowie are third and IMHO that's how they will finish after next week.

When I spoke to robbo, he said his missus would only let him play one sport a year, especially since they just had another kid mate. Robbo is hopeful he will play with him next year at booleroo

Northern Areas begin their inaugural finals series next week. Burra finished minor premiers so they have a bye. Pekina-Carrieton will host Booleroo-Willowie at Pekina Park with the winner taking on Burra the following week. The elimination final sees Bundaleer at home to Wilmington-Melrose. Loser out - winner will play loser of the game at Pekina.
Will have Rocky River's finals make up later tonight or tomorrow morning
