Our cricket club song,as much as it is offensive goes as this: (1 leads and the others call after)

I want to be a Western Youth Ranger ...I want to be a Western Youth Ranger
I want to live a life of danger...
Scuba Diver......
69'er....
There was a girl that I love best.....
I used to like to suck her breast.....

F**k her standing.....
F**k her lying....
If she had wings.....
I'd f**k her flying....

Now she's dead but not forgotten.....
DIG HER UP AND F**K HER ROTTEN.....

I want to be a Western Youth Ranger.....
Were the best......
F**K THE REST!!!

Had the joy of leading this on top of a table with A grade premiership cup in hand full of lager....ahh,memories.

When i used to play footy for my school ( the heights) we had quite an original, stupid song it was something like this

who, who, who,
the heights, the heights were on the top
the heights, the heights were to hard to stop
we take great marks and we kick long goals
in our defence there are no holes
we are the team that never gives in
we are the heights we play to win
who, who, who, maroon and blue
who, who, who, the heights thats who

that song took alot of time to learn

were the fittest team you know
and bob neil is a legend so

Did the sun come up thismorning?
Does a nun wear rosery beads?
Did we send those kernts a-sprawling?
Did we send them to their knees?
Coz, we are the Raiders, the raiders machine
We can't be beaten this must be seen
etc.

This has got to be one of the longest songs ever!

There is a footy team in town, in the town,
Of Ironbank, you'll hear the sound, hear the sound,
Of horns and cheers as we kick another goal,
And go for opponents who we roll, roll, roll.

Iron men from Ironbank!
We're as strong as an armytank!
Other side that we play have no hope, no hope!

Good bye and mend your wounds, good bye, good bye, good bye,
No matter how hard you try, hard you try,
you'll find that Ironbank come out on top,
And sounds of thunder scare the lot, the lot!
I hate Full Back.....................

We don't play for admiration
We don't play for victory
We just play for recreation
loyal uni scum are we
balls to (insert winning team's name here)
balls to (insert winning team's name here)
we won't play you anymore

why not?

because you gave us a f***ing great hiding
you gave us a f***ing great hiding
you gave us a f***ing great hiding
You! Dirty pack of sl*ts
You Dirty pack of sl*ts
You Dirty pack of sl*ts
you gave us a f***ing great hiding
you gave us a f***ing great hiding
you gave us a f***ing great hiding
You! Dirty pack of sl*ts

sung when the university bottom side (aka the scum) is given their customary flogging by the opposition.

cj - you're right about the uni song - that's how it goes and good to see you can remember it after your one season out there.
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much

My Former club, Salisbury Norths Old Club Song:

Ooga Ooga,
Whiskas on ur nooga nooga,
Razza razza,
ra ra ra
who-a who-a
who are we,
we are the boys from the salisbury north team,
did we win,
we shitted in.

Then got changed to;

We got the will to win, the will to rule
cmon, salisbury north aggression
we are the strength from the north
were gonna move forth
its a true salisbury north tradition
we'll never stop stop stop
till were top top top
theres history here in the making
northern hawks to win
we'll never give
till the flag is ours for the taking
HAWKS FOREVER!!!

And Paralowies club song is;

We are the roos and we are the team.... and so forth

walkerville's (in the 80's) used to start like this

the walkies, the walkies,
the jolly old walkies.
their forwards and backs are fine
their rucks and their rovers, they shine...

wish I could remember the rest
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much

I used to hate them but Happy Valleys "Chant" was a belter with the leader yelling "I want to be a Valley Viking" and 20 odd blokes screaming it back at him (not sure how the rest goes, some one has the lyrics post it on here) as loud as they could sure made you feel like s**t when you just got belted by them.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

I love the Paringa Footy Club's song, from the Riverland....

Ohhhh...the Paringa boys, the Paringa boys, the Paringa boys are we.
We're always up to mischief, no matter where we be.
Some people think we're silly, but they make a big mistake.
Cos when they meet us Paringa boys they meet us wide awake.

I was standing on the corner when Max Jonesy said to me.
If you're one of those Paringa boys you better come with me.
He grabbed me by the collar and he tried to run me in.
I upped me fist, and knocked him stiff, the boys began to sing.

Ohhh..ham and eggs for breakfast, ham and eggs for tea.
A slice of bread and butter, as hard as buggery.
And if you do not like it, well have some bread and jam.
We'll all go back to Paringa, in (insert coach's name) hot sedan.

Great fun to sing too!
Ham and eggs for breakfast, ham and eggs for tea

93 it was to the tune of do-wa-diddy.

The Walkies, the walkies
are running down the street
singing do-wa-diddy-diddy-dum-diddy-do

And so on.

Salisbury's song still rates as my favourite of all the clubs I played at, most likely due to the memories attached.
