Wanting to hear some footy ... any footy ???

Are they doing any interstate footy on ABC2 this year?

Would be nice but last time that happened was 2007.

I just dont understand it. ABC already incurrs the cost, why not use the material instead of buying something else.

Also given the greater interstate migration these days there is greater interstate interest in state league footy than maybe 20 years ago.

I used to love watching SANFL game of the week on Optus Vision when I was in brisbane and other comps when ABC2 ran it here.

Also I got a chance to watch the SANFL game in full Tuesday Nights as usually I was at one on Saturday arvo.

Yeah Peel, always a fan of teams other clubs want to throw out ie South Sydney Rabitoths. (NB - Port Magpies excepted)
