Great night at The East Demons final night on Saturday. Well Dean Luci, winner of the Rod Murray Blue Jacket. Also to Dougy Clarke for best first year player and Nick Monda for best team man. A fantastic night organised by our prez Mooney and the rest of the committee. And thanks to Athelstone FC for the food and drinks.

Is that Lucivero? Played a couple of seasons with us at United 07 & 08 from memory. Would ruck for our B Grade on Saturdays and then play over 35's on Sundays. Not bad for a mid 40 year old at the time. Nice bloke.

Yeah, thats him. Great bloke. Still goes alright too, ruck or CHB.

Heard a rumour that some boys are looking to get a Barossa team up and going. Would think there would be plenty of available starters in that region. Would be a strong side too

That would be great. Team from Morphie Park too would give us 17 teams.

SA teams flying at the national carnival at Maroochydore. All 5 teams had a win on Sunday with the 35's winning by 18 goals or so against Tassie. Will get scores to post after round 2 tomorrow and do a final wrap up sometime after round 3 Saturday, when i sober up from the final night

All SA teams still undefeated in Maroochydore. All playing for a medal on Saturday. The injury toll is rising, but all teams are hurting by this time of the week (i know i am). Will be like winning 5 GF's in one day, bring it on.

SA took out 3 titles today at the national final. 40's, 50's & 55's plus. Missed out in the 35's & 45's. Great effort boys, bring on the final night show, gunna get messy

Eats lost 1 game last year and beat Hills by 80 points. Not bad for plodders. Hills were average last year, better start training

the club is looking at getting an eighth team together again in 2012 but will depend on numbers.
there is a list of about 30 already but with a greys list of about 2000, i'd hope that we'd get a few more.
