Re: The South Australian Political Landscape

The hits just keep on coming for Steve Marshall. Now his energy policy is getting hammered.
The Electoral Commissioner has delivered an embarrassing blow to the Liberal Party days before the South Australian election, upholding a complaint of misleading advertising over Opposition Leader Steven Marshall's claim his party's energy plan would save households $300 per year.
The claim was made by the Liberals in advertisements and robocalls to thousands of South Australian households when the party launched its policy last October.
Mr Marshall was forced to backtrack the day after the policy's release, when modelling released by his own party showed that most of the $300 saving would be delivered whether or not the policy was in place.
And it wasn't just the Liberals that have been reprimanded.
The Labor Party was also censured over a flyer it distributed that stated "the Libs have a secret plan to cut $557 million of the GST share from South Australia", which was found to be misleading.

More so the plan he had where you were to be voting for SA Best in this election so when the next election comes around Labor will throw lots of money into the area to win the seat back and even the Libs might think they're a chance so they will too.
Imagine though Alberton getting $19 million upgrade next time, on top of the $7.5m this time. It will be the Taj MahalBooney wrote:[emoji38]

Wow
That’s ridiculous
Does seem like the wheels are falling off the SA best train at the moment

That's why they've been sitting on the wrong side of the room for 16 years, and, if I was a betting man (I am) I be considering the below betting closely :
ALP $2.10
Liberal $2.65
SA Best $3.00
