Pauline Hanson on the Insiders yesterday must go down as the biggest train wreck of all time.

I would of loved to see the reaction from her media team 8-}

Anyone else hear Haydon Manning on AA this morning?
He summed Turnbull up beautifully
I'll see if I can find the audio
Basically, the Fair Work Commission was set up by Labor (Shorten) and Commissioners were handpicked by Labor (Shorten) and now Labor (Shorten) are bagging their decision but Turnbull cant seem to join the two together.
Everyone else can see Shorten for being the hypocritical, lying, opportunistic grub that he is, other than Turnbull

you are a educated man and comments re Shorten are in line with Turnbull?
when a bad decision is made it takes a better man to make comment !

I didn't hear it but can imagine how well put the point was made.

I don't agree with the decision made by the Fair Work Commission, but the business lobby have no interest in trying to promote that it will be good for business, and are leaving it to Turnbull to try and sell. Turnbull certainly has ballsed it up, and all the headlines/media is against it.

however the only useful thing Turnbull has said, and it has really gone through to the keeper, is the deal that Shorten did with Cleanevent.

Federal Minister Michaelia Cash in hot water caught out failing to declare a mortgage on a $1.4 million property she owns next to door to her main residence, her fourth home and second investment property.

A Turnbull government cabinet minister has been caught out failing to declare her financial interests properly, potentially placing her in "serious contempt" of Federal Parliament.

Employment Minister Michaelia Cash did not declare a mortgage on a $1.4 million investment property for almost four months - and finally made the disclosure only after questions from Fairfax Media.

Senator Cash bought the house next door to her home in the upmarket Perth suburb of Floreat on November 4, property records show.

It's the fourth house in her portfolio, and the second investment property. Senator Cash took almost three months to declare the house but then did not declare the new mortgage - both of which are required under the rules.

Asked about the potential oversight on February 20, Senator Cash's office declined to comment.

But disclosures released on Monday reveal she quietly added the Bankwest mortgage to her register on February 21.

Now where did I put that $1.4m house?

Funny that Michaelia Cash is married to Richard Price

The thing is it just makes her look more like the victim and it wont effect her support. Even if she gets shown up as completely and utterly clueless it wont hurt her support, it will just be flipped as the media trying to bully her etc.

If you attack her directly she will just keep gaining support.

I also think that the media do try and target Hanson's weak spots, but she will get away with it, people are turned off the political machines of Labor/liberal

Yes I would agree with that.

Really the way to stop the rise of one nation is for them to stop being viewed as an alternative to the 2 disfunctional major parties.

But the only way that can happen is if they are called out on their policies by the media, like what happened on the weekend.

the key is for the media to explain why the policies are not feasible, not just call them stupid

Except the ones that are plainly stupid. ;)

That said, which media outlets have labelled One Nation's policies as 'stupid'?

Im not sure thats having enough of a negative effect on her though.

Even with this vaccination stuff and the apology and backflip, first thing that pops up on my news feed is "gee you dont see any other politicians admitting there wrong" etc etc. The fact is she ****** up and now she is veiwed of having humility.

Seriously I dont think this one can be killed off by the normal means. The issue is all the PC crap going on and then the extreme left. Even super dopey Hansen still loos like the alternative.

She's shit in her own nest in WA though. She made some preference deals with Barnett who looks like he'll be driven out of town in this weekends elections and she's sided with him. She's also pushed hard personally instead of letting her local faces do the talking, some Queenslander telling the WA folks what to do isn't going down well.

Will be watching One Nations numbers in WA this weekend.
