In thinking of her speech patterns, I'm reminded I'm likely to meet Julia at a prospective University of Adelaide or SA Museum fund-raising function in the near future. It will be interesting to hear how she speaks in an academic rather than campaigning context.
Whatever, I'll be my usual civil self.

"They do it too" is not a justification for a broken promise, we should hold both sides to account

Julia seemed to have different voices in different contexts.
She tended to put on the somewhat whiny "working class" voice in campaigning or for TV.

Bit like Johnny howard and his akubra in the country. Hypocrite.

I rarely wear a hat in the Adelaide Hills or even in the cities, but I would out in the sun in the open country, though maybe something cheaper an an Akubra.
And I have less motivation, too, as my scalp is no where near as bare as Johnny's.

Yes, but he wore his Akubra even when the sun was not out... it was an image he was after. Pretty much all politicians do the same thing though.

Cheers

Think someone in the liberal party needs to return the favour to Pyne much like how he got his pre selection for his seat the first time....
