Things like that will be worked out after i presume.....as I know Mallala and TW are for it and TW president is taking to the league, so really both clubs are getitng the ok form the board

Don't know if it is McPharlin or Reid but a certain Adelaide Plains Ryan may not play this year. Well, if you can believe what a couple of Lower North cricketers were mouthing off about on Saturday afternoon over a few echos

McPharlin will be playing, and those lads were all HWE fellas anyway, with the exception of Ryan Darling.
So I'm guessing by process of elimination it is the Ryan of the Reid variety.

Nope....dont believe the lights were up untill late! night games are better at the start of the year i reckon when the weather has the chance to be warmer! although initial talks may have been held between the 2 clubs last year

Ok, so time to put the Wally Hand issue to bed. Yes he did sign but as stated previously it is void untill he has been cleared. Doubtful his back is as bad as he made it out to be as people have seen him at the gym???? He couldnt give the rams an outright answer either way so the Rams made the call and told him he is not required. So yes Greg and Paul were correct in their statements but someone that had given their word and put pen to paper couldnt commit so the decision was made.

Yeah this is what I was hearing over the weekend. Faked a back injury so that he could get out of playing for Virginia. Not happy campers down South and fair enough too.

I still don't think they're good enough for a night match even after the upgrade, but anyway.

Although I haven't seen the oval lit up, I am told that they are only just at the required level for SANFL training standards. Definately not up to SANFL playing specs. I would be very SCARED if I was the club rep that had to sign the form at the start of the day to say that the ground is safe to play. (Having said that I would still probably go for a look).
