That'd be like trying to take " Rome with a pop-gun". Kellett been at Moonta for at least 1 season. Don't let facts get in the way of a 'headline'SD.

Admittedly, I did hear it from a former Mallala legend of the club so there may be a slight exaggeration in the truth. Please excuse me, I can't believe I had the tenacity to post something that may or may not have been true on this forum. I should know better.

Aside from quoted left arm jab re: audacity and tenacity, the Gull actually is a valuable contributor to this site. Often knowledgable and accurate.
SD probably didn't deserve the treatment he got, but hell TWR, pick your fights. With your grammar especially.

Interesting to see that some clubs have done well with recruiting so far. Virginia have recruited very little and have lost a few from last year. Will be a test for the rams in 2011 will they go back to bottom dwellers or continue to develop?

I smell something fishy 8) on a serious note Balaks going to be hard to match up on, especially on those dry days with a few extra tall recruits. Good luck 2 any full back in the league when you got to stand the big whisky :(

I do find it slightly ammusing that a lot of you are commending United on buying 5 players instead of one. One of the reasons being that they are stuggling with juniors and it is a benefit to the assoc and it will keep players around the club but when Virginia does the same it's shot down in flames??? Different rules for different clubs obviously.

I also find it slightly amusing that you are likening Long Plains to Virginia, a town (if you can can it that) of approx 6 houses quite literally in the middle of nowhere, to a Town on the urban fringe with close to 2000 people (over 1500 of which are Australian born according to the ABS) not that you have to be Australian born to play footy. Any way i dont want to start this arguement again as like more other thinks its been done to death on here.

I think there was a board decision that players which were locals under last years import system would not attract points under this years system (ie Chappy & Pascoe)

A div 1 player is 3 points, as is a div 2 player, and div 3

However a div 1 reserves player is no points could it be they have one or two from this level

Just pointing out a big flaw in the system SG.
Div 4-7 are 2 pointers are they not? yet a div 1 ressies player is none, so a guy that maybe played 10 ressies and 8 a grade last year is 0 and probably not the worst footballer going around

I can't believe I had the "audacity" to make such an error :D ;) Here's a chip.....

For the record a Div 1 reserves player will also be points
