Swamp, anyone who has played the majority of their games from the previous season in a club's reserves team will be zero points if they head to another club.

Section 3.3.2 (C) of Appendix 4 - SACFL Regulations

I've never really understood some things about Div 1 reserve teams. Is the Div 1 reserves a better standard than Div 2?

I don't believe div 1 res would be better then Div 2 A grade.....Div 1 ressies though would still be a great standard im sure.

Div 1 teams have an A Grade and B grade, as do Div 2 etc. There would definately be some very handy footballers come out of Div 1 reserves (especially the fringe players). I think (not 100% sure) David Barnes played a fair few reserves games the year before last for example. Anyway, recruits dont always have to come in the team and be Assoc player quality (although, no doubt it helps if they do).

Clearances have only been open since the 2nd, so i wouldnt think too many would be lodged yet.

Yes it was I remember that as i played in the under 14's GF that day......and it's been my only GF lost to date.

The same day the under 17's GF last quarter went for 31 mins and Lee Allmond kicked the winner just before or after the siren.

FYI there will likely be 5 players from that premiership in this years A grade still (and a couple from the 2001 B Grade Premiership also).
