Doing anything on TW soon?

There's something in the TW Echo about your Centenary. I think that gets delivered in the next few days.

No. To Two Wells. There are printed copies in the Producer office now.

What are people's thoughts of the Plains Producer Medal, happy the way it is, should we have a separate medal than the Mail Medal to present?
Any ideas on design etc would be appreciated.
I'm suggesting producing a custom-made medal unique to our league. If you get the Mail Medal as well, all well and good, but you should have a medal unique to your league IMO.

I like the idea of having a Player of the Year setup in the paper itself with weekly updates, ala the Sunday Mail Player of the Year and having a customised league medal voted on by umpires which would replace the current Mail Medal. No idea as to what it could be called though.

Agree with Donkey. Not sure how you would work out votes etc. for player of the year. Possibly get coaches to vote 3,2,1 on every games might be the most reliable way.

I've seen set-ups where club presidents award votes for the best players from the opposition team. Would that work for a player of the year sort of thing?

Could be anyone really as long as they are reliable and consistent. You wouldn't wanna be going off the best player lists as sometimes they could be misleading.

Would not matter too much if underdone or overdone, both are injury prone and should be paid per actual playing minute.

You would think them heading back to Willaston would be against all odds.

Yeah, votes would have to be submitted on the day. Do they do an APFL team of the year?
